Seriously though, size doesn't matter. Some people won't bother even though they see it. I clicked it when I joined. Its there for a reason and the reason is to help newbs find their way. Thinking that you're smart with something which you are new to is counter-progressive.
People should be directed to the page once they log in. That might help a bit.
