For a few years in a row, that month featured nothing but SMBX games.
I already have a game picked out, no worries m8ies.
That said, April is always a non-RPG month, usually focussing on action or arcade/sidescroller games and I see no need to change that.
Went back a few pages to nab my current list:

I take extreme umbrage with this statement. Don't you go insinuating what constitutes an "actual game."
It's the Legendary Legend debacle all over again.

Instead of featured games, sometime we could have a month to feature a developer instead. Don't know how that would work, but throwing it out there.
We could always do both, though not sure how something like that would be done or where to start this late.

I agree we should not feature a Mario game. I think it would be much more worthwhile to feature a Sonic game instead.
