Funny. I know the man who worked on that famous scene where the white house explodes. Lawrence Littleton.

Can we hold off on the vitriolic, armchair moral preaching from the former British Empire for one day? Come on, it's our birthday. Give us the gift of your silence. :)
I have no idea, F-G. They're US citizens too so, shrug. Never really been exposed to navtive American societies outside of casinos.
Native Americans do the same thing they do every day. Get drunk, beat up their wife/girlfriend and cry about hundred year old persecution. I'd be surprised if they were even aware that we've entered July (oh wait, welfare cheques probably keep them up to date).
I can say this because I'm part native american. Kind of like how only blacks can say 'nigga'.
Happy Independance Day, South-of-the-Border Friends. So when're you gonna give your corrupt Federal government the heave-ho?

Wikipedia (and my history lessons):
"Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence (freedom) from the Kingdom of Great Britain."
Thus, S4D,we celebrate freedom... In answer to your previous question.
In my opinion, we celebrate freedom by eating more meat than we should, consume more alcohol than we ever really should, blow up firecrackers and neighbors' houses when we shouldn't, and have more fun than on any other day of the year.
So, yeah, we have an all around great time basically! XD

After living on the White Earth Nation reservation for approximately one year I can confirm that particular tribe celebrates it by drinking a ton of beer and playing with illegal fireworks. Way to sock it to the man.
Wait, you really didn't know why we call it Independence Day? Nice.
Shit, I coulda told you all about Canada's Independence process when my voice was still crackling from puberty, and the US even has a quasi-celebration of Mexico's quasi-Independence day on the 5th of May.
So much for insular dumbass Americans huh ;P
