Hello, I am new to THIS forum...

Welcome! Be sure to put a game page together with some info and a few screenshots. You can even upload that video to the game's own personal page as "media" and get a nice boost to your Makerscore (a measure of your contribution to the site)
Plus, you can get Subscribers who will be notified each time you update the games page with new screenshots or blogs.

I think that is recoloring them, and it is called Frankenspriting.

I always thought "Frankenspriting" was taking pieces from one graphic (like a sprite), and slapping it on another. Recoloring is what one does to monsters to indicate that it's a different thing you're fighting cut resource usage.

But what would I know?

That might be it, it was just what I thought. None of the less, that sounds like a pretty good thing to be able to do.

Welcome Eventing_Guy! I like the way Guardian Angel looks so far, and I love Grandpa. I hope he is a playable character. He might even deserve his own spinoff game, 'Grandpa's Quest", lol!
