LULLABY IS FINISHED (but still needs to be tested for bugs)

Hey there!

I’m incredibly happy to announce that the last bit of art that I was waiting for got finished yesterday.
Niwa did an amazing job, the character portraits look amazing!

I got so excited that I added all of the art to the game today - and that means Lullaby is completely finished!

Aaaaaah, I can’t express how excited I am right now!

To be honest, I really can’t believe it.
It’s been so long since I started developing this game and I put so much of my love and effort into this project.
It’s so surreal that I really did finish it.

Of course, I still have to playtest the game a ton and there are probably a lot of bugs still, but after that is done, it’s ready to be released into the world (like a rare and awkward animal).
On that note, a huge thank you to NeverSilent, who is testing the game for me (and also serves as moral support basically)!

In general, I can’t express enough how grateful I am for everyone’s support and interest in Lullaby.
I’ll update you all about the download as soon as I can.

As always, thank you so much for reading!

See you guys next time.

It’s actually done? Wow! That’s great to hear! :D
Like, this really caught me by surprise! I’m so glad for you, finishing a project after such a long time is something to be proud about.
However, no need to rush now, iron out all the bugs you find first.

I’ll make sure to give this game a play once it’s released in full.
God, finishing a project must feel so good... Honestly I can't relate, haha. I'm so happy for you and as always can't wait to play this!
YESSSS!!! It's finally here!!! Can't wait to play it! And congrats for completing the game!

Ah, thank you so much!
Bug testing is going pretty well so far, it's kinda surprising how many things there are still left to fix haha.

Yeaaah I kinda have to resist the urge to just make the download available super fast, but I'd rather have a game with no/almost no bugs than have a game people can't play.

Honestly I didn't expect to finish it at all at this point oof.
I'm not usually someone who pulls through, I have a hard time finishing things I started xD So it's especially exciting that I did this time!

Hooray! You did it! Congratulullabyations!

Now, of course, the fun part begins... Playing the same scenes over and over and over again to fix minor issues.

Joking aside, while testing can be slow and annoying, you and any playtesters do get to see your own work in action, which I always thought was pretty cool. And it'll hopefully be worth the extra effort before release.

Thanks for the shoutout. What can I say except: You're welcome? ;)

Awww thank you!

Yes, it's just so fun to repeat the same bit of dialogue/the same action over and over and over and over (did I say "over" enough yet?) again.

Honestly, I am pretty sure I couldn't be a game tester. The amount of patience and focus you need to be one is honestly mind-boggling and I have a huge, new-found respect for them.
But like you said, it is pretty cool to see poeple react to a project you have worked on for such a long time!

Honestly, I can't thank you enough for all your help. Lullaby wouldn't be the same without you.
