The shift over of the waist and the leg sweep/take down is what might be causing the problem visually.

Otherwise, very cool! I wouldn't want to tanto with this guy!

Yeah, definitely needs tweens to be a full, smooth animation. These are just the frames I'm using in-game. Looks okay in battles though!

Neither would I! These fight poses are based on Bagua Zhang circle walking positions. Pretty effective close combat style.
