The day has finally come - Journey to Medulla is out now!

Well the day is finally here! The Journey to Medulla can be taken by anyone with a Mac, Windows or Linux computer for free! It's been a fantastic 18 months working on this project and I thank everyone who has helped me learn this new craft.

The full free game can be downloaded here:

https://ihavenoskin.itch.io/the-journey-to-medulla

This game is free of charge and dedicated to anyone who downloads it. I want people to share this experience with me and I don't expect anything in return! HOWEVER, if you can leave a comment, a rating or follow me on any social media (Ihavenoskin) then that would be a great bonus.

I hope you enjoy this game, I'm very proud of it!

I'll be at GamesCon Middle East on the 25th - 27th of October in Abu Dhabi showing off my newly launched game.

Good luck with whatever you are doing and I hope you have fun on the Journey to Medulla

yours sincerely,

Ihavenoskin

Announcement! Release date: 25th October!!!

So finally the day will arrive! After 15 months of hard work and learning, my first game, The Journey to Medulla will be released for free on Itch.io on the 25th of October.

It's been an amazing experience, I've had made some great relationships and got myself involved in not only the RPG Maker Community but also the independent video game scene, won an award at GamesCon Middles east and had my game LP'd on Youtube!

Its been a great journey and thanks to anyone who has been involved, played the game or offered any support.

The game will be 100% free, I've used a lot of graphics which were free and since it's my first game it doesn't feel right to charge this time around.

I hope anyone who plays this game enjoys it, think of it as a gift from me to you and please give it a try! I'd love to hear any feedback you might have and let me know if you find any bugs!

The game is being tested, I've played through on Mac and it's been completed on Windows by my brother. We don't have any major bugs at all, to be honest it could be released now but I'm going to leave it a little longer in case either of the other two people testing find any issues!

Thanks a lot if you are reading this! Please accept my gift of this game!

Kind regards
Ihavenoskin

New screenshots

Hello!

It's screenshot time!

I haven't posted some for a while, but you can see a lot in the latest mapping videos.

Anyhow, enjoy the below and let me know what you think.

The premise of the screenshots is that our heroes enter the school of mountain magic and have to take certain classes to learn things about the journey.

1) The history classroom - I decided to have a museum feel to the history class so you can take a look at different pictures and learn the history of the JTM world.

2) The School Canteen - what school would be complete without a canteen to hang out in! The screenshots don't have many people in, however, in the game, they will be full of other students to interact with!

3) The School Library - The library will be a hub of information. I'll add a quest or two in here to earn some cash or some skills!

4) The School Playground - The screenshot doesn't have any other children in yet however, I'll work out a little football mini-game hopefully...

New Screens and update on Comicon Dubai!

Hello!

It's been a while since I've posted however that's because I've been working hard on the game!

So Comicon will be in April, I'm still trying to figure out what build to take, last time at Gamescon I took basically the Demo (on Itch, Download it here: https://ihavenoskin.itch.io/the-journey-to-medulla ) all the way up until you race the train on the Pomeranian... This time I'll let people try the race out and play on from there... maybe...

Anyway, I've come up with the idea of having a dungeon segment to the game, however, I hate Zubats (lol) and random encounters (which I've taken out of my game!) so I wanted to do something a bit different.

So each dungeon has a theme, one is a giant forest inside the dungeon (the game explains how) and the other is an aquarium! The last dungeon will be a massive kitchen :) I know this seems very random, however, I wanted to add elemental attacks based on the classic, green, blue and red plus the dungeons are part of a complex village of monks who protect the local school of mountain magic!

Take a look and let me know what you think :)

Hello!
Some great news, "The Journey to Medulla" will be at the Middle East Film and Comicon 2018!

I really enjoyed being a part of GamesCon Middle East (see here for the full breakdown of that event!) and can't wait to demonstrate the game to the public again!

Hello

Thanks to anyone who has played the Demo, I really appreciate it.

A lot of darkness!
