Explore the mysterious island of Illumia with it's many secrets and treasures. Non linear interactive gameplay allows you to choose how you play with different routes and endings. Progress is determined by the treasure you collect allowing you to clear obstacles and beat bosses without grinding. Summon abilities of fallen heroes by embracing the power of the contracts and possibly even brave the dark depths beneath the island!

Story:
Four strangers are brought together and given a second chance when the borders between life and death are tampered with. In doing so the world they knew now seems unfamiliar to them and they must overcome themselves in order to find the man responsible for their shared misfortune. This man with dark ambitions betrayed his kingdom and released four powerful titans that had enslaved humanity in times past. In the ensuing chaos he plans to rebuild the world for his own sake, one without death or suffering. Will you decide to confront the titans, prevent the dawn of a new world, or explore the island to uncover it's dark secrets?

Features:
- Inspired by the early Zelda and Final Fantasy games, this game has a heavy emphasis on exploration and strategy. Your strategy in battle including whether to run or fight will determine the outcome of each battle and being unprepared for difficult encounters could be costly.
- Buy, craft or scavenge for equipment to keep upgrading your party. Collect recipe books and rare minerals to create equipment from the menu. Visit different stores across Illumia to find the best deals and exclusive items.
- Keep track of quests and achievements from the menu to track your progress. Over 40 quests to complete including a mark system for tracking challenging foes.
- Uses Yanfly's Charge Turn Battle plugin inspired from Final Fantasy 10 as a departure from typical turn based battles. Manipulate ally and enemy turns to create advantage in combat.
- Clear obstacles with swords, bombs, pickaxe, shovel, ocarina, lantern, and zephyr boots to explore dungeons and the overworld. You may even find random loot or new dungeons as a result!
- Each character has their own good and bad ending, completing each character arc grants a powerful exclusive accessory as well as several story changes.

I've finally completed 100% of the game I believe and with it my final batch of bug reports.

1. The knight's 100 lb heavy strike skill still doesn't work and it's even worse than it was, because now it hits the character who uses it.

2. The rogue's sprint skill doesn't seem to do anything.

3. I never received the 5 elites achievement and I think I beat them all. Maybe this has to do with the previous elite bug I ran into from Elfheim, if so it might work properly on a fresh game from the latest version or maybe not I dunno.

4. If I'm correct in assuming the main quest referring to something sinister in the woodland plains is the superboss essence of magic, then it was never marked as completed in the quest journal when I won. During the boss and after the boss the character sprites and portraits took on their appearance from the ending and stayed even after leaving the area. This may be intentional given the dialogue about alternate timelines and such.

1. Ouch I fixed literally everything but the target, arguably the most important part. Fixed that in quick update just now.

2.Just tested sprint in own save and does as intended from what I can see in that it adds an extra hit to normal attacks. Dual wielding Sword of courage and crystal sword plus sprint lets you hit 5 times.

3.It should work on a fresh file as the error was the event moved on too soon before.

4.That would be it, unfortunately it completes the incorrect quest id upon completion but that's now fixed.

That's honestly amazing that you've 100%'d the game. As the developer that's really nice to hear, especially as the game had more than a few issues...

I'd really like to know what you've thought of the game overall. If it's not too much to ask could you leave a review for the game or even just a comment here if that's easier?
Can anyone help me get the treasure in the sky fortress in the room with 4 chests guarded by spikes and crumbling floors, the left sloved but right I couldn't. The version I play 1.0.4
just reached the sentinel in the water dungeon. after the dialog "we will become you bla bla" the fight begins and the timer starts. then the screen turns black and the dialog "we will become you bla bla" appears again. and the screen stays black. cant open the menu or do anything else. and since there was no save in front of the boss ill have to reload an old save file...
@kenshin1, Even I'm a bit stumped going back to that puzzle so made a quick fix. Should be doable now.
@reggird, Sorry about that I'd changed how that boss works a bit which has accidentally created that loop. Should be fixed now.
Second phase of fight with Gelghar freezes after couple of dialogues

where are Armageddon and Catastrophe?

Enter backroom of Galardia church and game goes into a loop with dialogues between Alice and old man.
Defeat the Titan Skye before other Titans and you can enter castle.
Chaos and Service Entrance quest are not linked properly. SE quest is not needed if you entered castle already.

General
Too many monsters and re-spawning is irritating in places for exploring. It is too bad underground.
Save point in under ground layers needed for exploring
The rocks, plants, pots, muds with treasures reappearing is boring.
'Observer' does not work after sometime
Nearly impossible to handle 'Flare' while fighting Warlock
Escape fight is just useless. You lose 10% yet monster confronts you immediately.
Ocarina, Shovel, Pickaxe, Lantern, Zephyr boots, Dark Mirror? What is the seventh tool? World Map!?

What is " ...peculiar about middle flower.." in castle?

All monsters could be poisoned and takes away of 10% HP every turn. Needs better balance.
'Fear' is most difficult and boring. Even with poison the fight takes couple of minutes.


Download v1.0.5 and Sentient water dungeon black screen again. Cant open the menu or do anything else.

Sorry about that, I made a huge error and saved 1.0.5 to the wrong folder which unfortunately was not the file you downloaded. v1.0.6 is out now which has addressed a few other issues. I've spent a lot of time testing the Sentient boss and running the timer down to check different scenarios work. Sorry again about the error and mix-up and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy the rest of the game.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems I've tried to address one issue of the darkshell boss and left it checking it's limbs are alive on loop.

Catastrophe is in the left branch of the grave of the hero just before the boss. Only appears after the point I believe you've reached where the quest is given to find it.
Armageddon is in the room of the church where the dialogue was looping, I've been trying to work out how that's happened as switch that keeps this event off is required to give the starting characters more than one class. Have you had any trouble switching classes or using contracts?

Regarding getting into the castle easily this is the intended feature. As it's a non linear game I didn't want the player to miss a way to get in to the final dungeon. Figured it would be more fun to have options. Storming the castle was also a way to include characters from the areas completed so more people will turn up based on which titans you've defeated. Also fair play on going for Skye first as he can be one of the trickier ones if not prepared.

The consensus on the underground seems to be too many spawns so I've adjusted the rates so there are only a few in each large cavern. You should be able to save once reaching Darkholme, I'll consider adding more options to save but I'd like to see how people get on with the current changes so far as this area is intended to be difficult.

Is this lack of delay for escaping for a single encounter or is this generally the case? Enemies should at least stop for a bit giving you chance to escape normally.

I assume you've been using the stinger to poison enemies? For some reason it seemed to bypass the poison immunities of many of the enemies intended to resist it. I can see why this might have trivialized some encounters.

The seventh tool is the bombs given during the prologue and purchasable from Gulliber just south and west of Galadria. Normally as it's a given that you've had one by the end of the prologue achievement 2 only checks if you've found the other 6. Did you not receive the achievement and if not do you remember the last tool you found?

The flower in the castle when an ocarina is used on it reveals a climbable vine in the castle, I've left a slightly better hint there now.

Fear is a bit crap arguably but I've tweaked his moveset now and the encounter is escapable which will cause him to disappear for a while. I wanted the encounter to be a big deal and something the player really doesn't want to run into but I suppose that just ended up being a bit frustrating to deal with.

Apologies for the wall of text but I wanted to address each of your issues in detail and perhaps learn if there was something I'd missed that another player could come across potentially.

tl;dr I've updated the game to v1.0.6 and hopefully anything I've missed above should be in the version info file.
In v1.0.6 the black screen issue of the Sentient boss is gone but as soon as the fight starts(right after the infight dialog stops) I get resurrected in the nearest church >.<

Oh, and the Scald-skill from the water elementals in the temple isn´t added to the skill list after it is learned

I had the > symbol the wrong way round on the timer... should have a stealth update up in an hour. Also reclassified Sclad as a Hunter skill, thanks.

And any hint to find the lantern? I´m kinda ready to storm the castle and deafeated all 4 titans but still don´t have it.(probably missed it :D)

You'll need the ocarina and head south east where the sand meets the trees.
Lantern might be a bit obscure tbf, probably will add some npcs that hint at tool locations in future. Might wanna check the houses in the slums, I'd look out for any makeshift basements.

I was at the 2nd part of Elftein forest in a narrow path going north and the game crash the error message I got was, Failed to load Img/charaters/Monster1.png, (It happened twice I got the same error.
I download the last updated version, put my saved file started to play without luck at the same place the game crash. could It be fix? or I need to start a new game?
I also noticed my characters do not increas the experience for a next level, is like they reach the top. Helpppppppppppp please

Hi I downloaded ur game 1.08v, but when I start new game, there is no intro and character is thrown into some random dungeon. Should it be that way?
