We're very happy that our hard work paid off and that people enjoyed our game.

Really? That never happened to us. We'll look into it.
Ah! Perhaps you blasted through the opening forest very quickly so you ran ahead of the credits. That might be the problem. We'll think of a fix. Meanwhile, what if you wait until the last credits (Scripter CuckooOrange) fades, and then go fight? Would that work?
Interestingly. The opening forest is currently a big problem. Some players take forever to navigate through it (and may even get lost) while others go through it rather quickly.
We're thinking of re-designing it so it's more straightforward.

The ideas of Norse Mythology caught my interest. I like Norse Mythology a lot better than Greek Mythology. There defiantly needs to be more games with Norse Mythology.Anyway let me know when you fix the opening forest so I can give this game a try.

No, the problem is at the beginning where you have the spot that is supposed to initiate the credits when touched, but the player can just walk around it.

in battle it a random times when not confused or anything makes me target allies with attacks and skills its good game besides that so far nevermind it was just the mouse pointer i forgot what a pain it can be in mv games

I really enjoyed Driftwood's Lets Play of your game - good writing and a really cool premise! Good luck in the competition!
Played a small portion of the game, however since it's made with MV it doesn't agree with my PC and it lags a lot. But from what I played it was pretty fun!

@sirkion Haha! Yes you are right the mouse is kinda a pain in MV. It messes up the battle system sometimes.
@djbeardo Glad to see you made another entry in At Last Alone! Will definitely play it when I get a chance.
@EnricBlack Thanks so much! Yeah. The bigger problem is we're trying to get this on iOS but it is practically FROZEN on there. That's the biggest flaw of the MV engine. It uses so much resource!

@watermark Indeed, Mv can be a real pain in the butt. And it makes me sad to see so many good looking games being made with it. And here I am unable to really play them because Mv seems to use so much resources. But I do love your work I have played several of your games. The first game I ever played of yours was Blacksword Chronicles which I found on gamejolt quite a long time ago. Then I played deus cards and the guild of five magics and loved them all.
Okay, I really didn't mean to multi-post. It was when I clicked confirm and nothing seems to be happening so I re-clicked it and now it has three copies of the same message. How do we get rid of a post again?
I know I'm a few years late and it doesn't look like anyone is posting on this anymore, but I wanted to since I'm currently playing :-)
I am quite enjoying your game. I really like the feature of summoning all the different historical warriors to help you in battle. I just got past the pool party and entered the cave to help Penelope. Interested to see where it goes.
-Love the soulcrafting and einherjar system. It's fun and interesting to see what each einherjar can learn when you boost them.
-I really like the music in your game, especially upstairs in the manner with the singing and the pool party.
The only real complaint I have (and it's not anything serious) is the mapping. It looks good (especially the base under the church and town itself). However; mostly in the forest and cemetery, there are quite a few tile issues with trees cut off and parts of objects missing. Also... you can't go under the top of your trees like most games. Not a huge deal, but when you have a path going one way, and you're following it, and then you can't continue because the top of a tree is blocking your way... that can get a little annoying.
However; that's really the only issue (and even then it's not a problem) :-) Really enjoying it so far!

@AeroFunk80 I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the game! But most of all I'm really happy as you're the first one to agree with me that music with singing sounds great. There's a lot of potential with voiced music I think. I don't know why but many people who played the game before hated the music with singing. Guess it's a matter of taste.

Hi again Watermark! I played through some of this. It was enjoyable as far as I got up to, which was just after you could go to the pool party. I did do some grinding in the main areas but that was it.
I liked the writing and the mechanics. It reminded me of summon systems because that's basically what the Einherjar are.
My problem was, I had to do a lot of grinding at that point to become more powerful. I don't know if that's a problem I just had or not, however.
I also enjoyed the battle music at the start like @AeroFunk80 did. I also like the other tracks I heard. Personally, I wouldn't mind if all the music stayed that way, or if used more traditional RPG music instead, either direction would work for me, in this type of game at least. But, for me, hearing the singing was also fun!

@boos405 Thanks so much for the compliment! However, this particular project was a collaborative effort of many of us on the team for that year's IGMC. Especially much of the excellent writing was done by Nick Neace.

Yes. It's the end of this game. If there is more interest it might be possible for us to make more episodes. As of now there's just episode 1. Thank you for playing!
