Since the contest is over, it's time to fix up some of the errors that were present in the contest build. You could of course still play the original contest build in downloads, but we recommend you play the updated version as it fixes the errors found in playthroughs during the contest.

Mac version is also available in downloads!

The idea of summoning historical heroes caught my interest, so I gave this game a try. However, after the first battle, the screen fades to black for almost a minute, some credits show up, then black again forever.

Really? That never happened to us. We'll look into it.
Ah! Perhaps you blasted through the opening forest very quickly so you ran ahead of the credits. That might be the problem. We'll think of a fix. Meanwhile, what if you wait until the last credits (Scripter CuckooOrange) fades, and then go fight? Would that work?

Interestingly. The opening forest is currently a big problem. Some players take forever to navigate through it (and may even get lost) while others go through it rather quickly.

We're thinking of re-designing it so it's more straightforward.

The ideas of Norse Mythology caught my interest. I like Norse Mythology a lot better than Greek Mythology. There defiantly needs to be more games with Norse Mythology.Anyway let me know when you fix the opening forest so I can give this game a try.

No, the problem is at the beginning where you have the spot that is supposed to initiate the credits when touched, but the player can just walk around it.
in battle it a random times when not confused or anything makes me target allies with attacks and skills its good game besides that so far nevermind it was just the mouse pointer i forgot what a pain it can be in mv games
I really enjoyed Driftwood's Lets Play of your game - good writing and a really cool premise! Good luck in the competition!
Played a small portion of the game, however since it's made with MV it doesn't agree with my PC and it lags a lot. But from what I played it was pretty fun!

@sirkion Haha! Yes you are right the mouse is kinda a pain in MV. It messes up the battle system sometimes.

@EnricBlack Thanks so much! Yeah. The bigger problem is we're trying to get this on iOS but it is practically FROZEN on there. That's the biggest flaw of the MV engine. It uses so much resource!
@watermark Indeed, Mv can be a real pain in the butt. And it makes me sad to see so many good looking games being made with it. And here I am unable to really play them because Mv seems to use so much resources. But I do love your work I have played several of your games. The first game I ever played of yours was Blacksword Chronicles which I found on gamejolt quite a long time ago. Then I played deus cards and the guild of five magics and loved them all.
Okay, I really didn't mean to multi-post. It was when I clicked confirm and nothing seems to be happening so I re-clicked it and now it has three copies of the same message. How do we get rid of a post again?
