Set in the magical world of Eos, a shadow is forming in the east across the demilitarized zone, which separates two powerful nations, the Chaos Imperium in the east and the Holy Empire of Ankhanesia in the west.

They have been in a state of religious cold war for over half a century. The Chaos Supremacists, led by the Imperious-God-Emperor, Xanaphos the Invincible, has been amassing an army the likes of which the world has never seen before. An army bred for one purpose – the total domination of the western-lands, and the destruction of all ideologies that do not conform to its ideals.

Meanwhile in the west, the Ankhanesian Empire is fractured. A civil war has gripped the nation, and the Holy Emperor, Cyrus I, is in a coma due to the trauma of the assassination of his wife and five children.
Their deaths are a total mystery because no bodies have been found.

The story of the game begins, 14 years later, when the fragile peace between the two nations and their allies, is suddenly destroyed.

The Northern Hemisphere of Eos and the Prismoni Union:
The north pole is located at the centre of the map. The equator is around the edge.
The shape of the supercontinent bears some resemblance to a phoenix.

No random encounters. Enemies can be seen and have line of sight and their own behaviours. They have elemental strengths and weaknesses so a good strategy will save your life.

Random item placement and drops. Each playthrough will always be different.

All playable characters and bosses have voiceover.

No level grinding required. All enemies level up with the player. New allies will join the party at a similar level to the player. Certain gear will give the player an advantage.

The number of times you can use a skill is limited until you replenish it by resting or using potions. So that you can't spam the same strong attacks.
Use them wisely.

Day and night system with on-screen clock, seasons, and a dynamic lighting system.

Plenty of puzzles inspired by the game, Chip’s Challenge, a Windows 98 game to rack your brains.

Input chain commands during battles to create combo attacks to inflict more damage.

10-15 hours of non-stop adventuring.

What's new?
- A new journal log in the menu to keep track of quests.
- Optional side quests to expand the lore of Eos.
- Anya's backstory and mission that brings closure to her character.
- Secret places and new areas to visit on the world map.
- More weapons, armours and items including powerful "dark weapons".
- More class skills, weaponskills and special skills.
- Added a variety of fun and challenging minigames and puzzles.
- New characters to interact with, and bosses to defeat.
- Updated the gallery to include more information.
- More in-battle voices and music.
- Unlockable TP modes throughout the game.
- An epilogue pre/post-credits.

I would not recommend using an old save file from a previous version.
Although, the main story should still work but the balancing will be off, and you'll miss out on the new features that 3.01 has to offer.

What's next?
This is a major update so please let me know if you find any bugs/glitches.
The sequel to this game will get a little update in the future so that the continuity, graphics etc, is more consistant with this one.

Thanks in advance for playing. Hope you will like the update.

I don't like the MV RTP at all, but hell... this looks awesome. I'll give it a try.

After some time I will go back to this game and write a guide.
With all those tricks (no internet browser open etc) I should be able to play it much better now.
I've been subbed to this game for a while and now I finally feel like playing. I must say, the beginning got me hooked! A lot of story though and uncoventional names to remember.
thanks! Ive finished the game. 91% complete. Some side quests I couldnt figure out but I still had fun. puzzles were tricky like the turning statues in the church. Im a very impatient person so I died alot there lol.
My favorite character I would say was victoria. she was abit sassy and someone I can relate to so it was fun swapping her to team leader in party setup and playing as her. Overall I give this game 4/5. not perfect but characters and story were amazing!
Thanks for making this game!!!

hi, I'm stuck on the Vandmir quest. How do I unlock Johns house? Its telling me to break into it to get the key to the factory.
great game btw! in-depth character growth and development. Cant wait to see how it ends.
Hello, Kero. Sorry for the late reply. To unlock John's house, you will have read Emilia's diary in her hideout. Check your journal for "Emilia's diary" and read the information on John's house. It will give you a 5 digit number with one number missing. From there, you just need to guess between 0-9. Hope that helps.

I had 99% before the final confrontation. Only "Find all gallery pictures" appeared completed. Have I missed a hidden place or something? I have completed 14 sidequests minus Completionist. I wa supposed to receive an 8-digit code at the end of the credits I think but I did not receive it. I did completea all the performance related stuff from the 100% guide too.
Someone had the same problem a while back. 99%, but couldn't figure out what he missed. It turned out he didn't collect all 4 ruby skulls before turning them in. It won't work if you find 3, hand them in, then find the last one later. Because handing them in early effectively ends the mission, and you won't get the extra 1%.
That's probably the most likely reason in your case. See if you've got any ruby skulls in your inventory.

Nope. I made extra sure that I had all 4 rubies before turning them in. I even had to start a new game after I realized that the second ruby was in Merrin Forest and had completed Karela Fort, therefore missed it. I have 14 sidequests completed except Completionist. "Find all gallery pictures" appears completed (red) but others appear incomplete (gray).

Are there only 13 side-quests in the game other than "Completionist"? I need to make sure I'm not missing anything before the final confrontation.
There are 15 side-quests including completionist. In order to get 100%, you need to finish them all, unlock the gallery and do other various activities.
Here is the guide:
https://rpgmaker.net/games/10201/100_Completion_/
A good way of knowing if you're on target is look at the % you're on when a chapter begins (see guide).
You should be on 93% when you cross the underground bridge at the monastery.
Good luck.

No problem, I have finished the game with 100%. and still haven't changed my mind that this game is truely amazing like I said before, though I have a quesion.
Are there anymore ending other then the ending where Risa got her Ankhanessa god power back, her hair turned yellow and became a giant bird? what if I didn't get the <Prologue: Karmic Destiny> right the first time, Will I get a different ending?
other then that, I really had a fun time playing this, Thank you again for the wonderful game.
The game has only one ending. The choices you make in the prologue determine Risa's base stats at the start of chapter 1. Skipping it will only give you the default or average base stats. It's a bit like choosing the difficulty, but more subtle and unconventional.
You can see the outcome by looking at the equipment menu and see what Sarafan she's wearing, ranging from old Sarafan to Rainbow Sarafan. She will have been given different elemental resistances and crit rate depending on what she got.

Hello, I know this is a bit late, but I finished the game(today with 96% with no hints) and I have to say, I absolutely love this game! I love all the charcaters
My favorite is Anya, it's sad that she got a cruel ending though
the story and the game is creative with all these difference puzzules and the battle wasn't too hard and too boring, and I can tell you made alot of effort into this game by reading all other reviews/reviewers and honestly making this ones of my most best rpg maker game I've played yet! I love this so much so, I created this account just so I could write a review. Normally I don't write review but your game is so good! Now there is a sequel and I can't wait to try it! Thank you all so much for making this game. Truely amazing.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm happy that you enjoyed the game. Yes, there is a sequel, but it is only a demo at the moment. Not sure when I'll get the chance to finish it. Anyway, I will look forward to reading your review of the 1st game, and thanks again for playing.

Just finished the game, amazing work. The balancing was really nice, I liked that you never really had to grind but still had to find out which tactics works best in fights. Also really like the atmosphere and story.
I'm still curious if its somehow possible to get behind the clown (Bob) in the second floor of the pharmacy? You have to enter a 8 digit code.
Also, what's the use of the two safes at the beginning of the game? (One Risas house, the other one in the house with the three combat trainer)
I finished the game with 100% and tried every 8-digit sidequest code I got, but none of them worked.
Is the idea that with the release of later parts you can start with whichever game you want and then transfer your equipment to the new part?

Congrats on 100% the game. It is always good to hear that, and thank you for playing.
As for the clown and the two safes, they are just there to give me cheats to test the game during development. I will DM you the code so you can have a mess around.
You are right about the sidequest codes. They are there so you can use the special items again in future adventures.

Gamebreaking Bug:
Abandoned Mine, 2nd battle (Shadow Bat & 2 Slimes). You can't do anything, only reload. Because of this bug you cannot reach the chest nearby.

Edit: Somehow it worked after the boss battle.

Love the game. Not too crazy about the enemies leveling up when I level up, but it not the worst thing to have in the game. I wasn't able to find pictures 7 and 16. Any help with those would be appreciated for when I do a 2nd playthrough
Hi, so glad to hear that you like the game. Thx for playing it.
As for the pictures:
7. When you exit the snow forest (Koshi Forest) and back on the world map, it is in the top right in the mountains. Look for the scroll.
16. When you're already on the ship leaving the capital, it's the 3rd sea map right at the top. The 4th being the blockade.
Anything else you think you've missed, there is a guide at the top of this page.
