You are dreaming.
You are unconscious in a hospital bed. Your insurance only covers 30 more minutes of life support. After that, you'll be unplugged, and that will be the end.
But all is not lost! You have 30 minutes to explore your dream and collect dream money. Maybe you can collect enough, and you'll live to see another day - in real life this time!
It won't be easy, though. Demonic nurses and orderlies pop up at every turn. Fight them with weapons and magic, and recruit allies to help you along your way, including Recovery, the helpful android nurse of your dreams! Or nightmares...
Features:
Recruit up to 24 cute characters of 4 different races: Humans, Witches, Beastmen, and Droids.
Battle with swords or guns, or your own fists. You get stronger depending on what skills you use!
Learn spells from seven schools of magic, including Angel Magic, Candy Magic, and Crystal Magic.
Explore the mazelike hospital for a million secrets! Okay, not a MILLION, but there's kind of a lot.
Take advantage of the New Game+ feature. After a Game Over, start again with all of your acquired skills, money, and items. It gets easier every time!
Features all original graphics and music!

I played for a full 30 minute session the other day, and it was pretty fun:
the "leveling" mechanics are implemented pretty well, and the characters designs are pretty interesting. The setting has a strange but capitivating atomosphere that has me intrigued to progress further.
when I'm finished, I might crank out a review!

Geeebus finally found some time to try this out and wow. XD This is awesome!
There's heavy Saga Frontier influence going on here which is a game series I love, and makes any game really replayable.
I love the gameplay, learning new skills, finding secrets, finding new characters, just so many great ideas here! Plus, it's so unique in it's own art and music~
More people need to play this. <_>
EDIT
On a side note, if you ever plan on adding more to the game or doing another similar game, a random cool idea would be have a machine in the begining that only appears on new game + with expensive special accessories/equipment/skills you can buy that you can't get anywhere else.
Plus, you couldn't get back to unless it's another new game + , so that way saving up money to buy stuff at the begining can be thought about.
and 'throw' skill is a biiiit overpowered imo.

There is a machine like that! It's well-hidden, though, and not in the beginning. ;D
And yeah, Throw and a lot of other skills are super-unbalanced... I'm not sure if I want to go back and totally re-balance the game, or just give up and do better in the next game.

Really? I'm going to need to give a more thorough look, then XD
Rebalancing a game like this would be a tremendous effort. Considering party combinations , and the randomization of items, you could get the best defensive item from one of the first few chests it seems like (A creamer)
I would definitely be interested in a re-balancing or remaster of this game adding in more locked areas, few characters, bosses, and higher tier equipment not obtainable til later/higher floors.
Even if not I'm also interested in a future game from you as well, this is great stuff. I dont' tend to find too many easily replayable easy-to-jump-into rpg games like this.

I really do want to make a "deluxe" version of this game, with an extended soundtrack and extra dungeons and stuff, but we'll see. I have another project I want to do first, and I rarely do the same game twice.

Really well-put together game. At first, I was confused, because I was earning so little money, I didn't see how I'd be able to make the cut. But then my time ran out and the game prompted me to save... ahhhh.
Really clever, great SaGa-style progression too... My characters got stronger and stronger without me realizing it.
It also gives you a chance to train up different characters on each playthrough, then choose your favorites.
Everyone should try this game.
