Crystal King - Short break from gamemaking.

Hello humans. I apologize that I haven't posted anything new in the last couple of months. I've been plugging away secretly, as if anybody misses the poor annoying bugbear. But don't worry, I'm still working on the game! So that's the good news. The bad news: while I have about 95% of the story done (the last 5% being the ending and epilogue that needs to be implemented), I still have tons of art that needs to be made. And currently, I'm a bit burned out balancing both my development time with my 9 to 5 job.

So as the title suggests, I'll be taking a break from development until things settle down at my job. Doesn't mean the game is canceled. It just means I'll be taking a break. I'll get back into development after a week or two. Hopefully, no later. Until then, I'll try and fill you guys in with some new details of the game for the next blog. I got a lot of things to unveil, both big and small changes. Thanks again for checking out the game and the game page. I'll see you guys later!

Thanks Kylaila! I am so sorry that I haven't gotten back to respond. A lot has happened as of late.

I got the bad news yesterday about my grandfather. He passed away yesterday, he was over 100+ years old. That's why I had to take the extra break because of his health so I'm feeling a whole lot better for today.

And thanks again for leaving a review. I hardly recognize the demo lol because I keep constantly changing stuff! I agree with a lot of the points, it gives me a better idea on what I have to work on especially the growth system. I will say though that the treasure grid (the thingy with the stashes) has been heavily reworked into something else. So it'll be a surprise for the next game.

And again, I'm very sorry that I haven't responded earlier or react to the review as soon as possible. Now that the grim news is over, I can finally get back to game making. Just reading your review has made my morning today so thanks again for supporting the game!

P.S. I cannot believe I hit over 10,000 page views! You're making me famous Kylaila lol!

Oh wow, that is REALLY recent. My deepest condolences. No matter the age. Though it is nice to see people reach that age : )

Haha, yeah, judging from the character page alone, there seems to be many changes. I will look forward to it!

Also no problem for the delay. Taking health breaks is a really really good thing, so I totally encourage it. I am happy you did get to respond at all : D (many times I review inactive devs, too). You are welcome : ) Thank you for making the game, it's fun!
