This was a nice little game, i assumed that there was going to be some sort of twist but i still was a bit suprised when it actually happened.

I'm pretty sure i got the easiest ending i could get because i used the core in every single fight :p

SPOILER, this message is directed at JJJ7:

Did you get the ending without using the core at all? It's the true ending, and the ending that will explain everything.

Now i did, and i'm proud to say i didn't die even once! Not to mention it was far more entertaining to have an actual challenge than to one-shot every single enemy xD
Cassius's reaction to the reveal did felt a bit odd, but that's just me nitpicking. Good game.

Frogge said it seems odd too, but no matter how I explain how he was thinking people still seem to think it was weird when honestly it wasn't.
Not the why it happened(that was pretty clear), but the way it was executed, to be precise:

I felt that Cassius assimilated things pretty quickly, I suppose he was remembering as the flashbacks were shown, but i couldn't see his expression or any dialogue that confirmed that, so the transition between the end of the flashbacks and him crying and apologizing felt a bit sudden.

Not sure if i made myself clear but, again, it's just me nitpicking on silly stuff.

@JJJ7 and anyone else that is confused on why he reacted that way, only read if you've played the entire game or do not plan to play it.

He wasn't just seeing it, he was reliving it. If it was just her showing it to him he would have easily put it aside as an illusion, but she cast a magic that legit put him in the past and made him feel and relive it all again. He not only remembered how he cared for her he relived all he went through with her, causing him to break down because that was something he could not deny. He broke down crying because he was kind of like he realized and it all washed over him and he was having a mental breakdown
Trying to fight legitimately is very tough. I think the final boss should not be allowed to heal, especially when she heals more than the sacred blade damage... that's just over the top. It kinda makes it too luck dependent since if she decides to heal, the battle just gets drawn out even more. Also was there any way to get rid of the poison? When poison sticks (and its permanent) it also gets kinda iffy. I mean I'm fine with it being tough but not if it's just luck dependent. I beat it eventually but I generally dont get luck so you can imagine how many tries i needed
