"Without You" is a visual novel that tells the story of two old friends, Dani and Gabriela, trapped in what seems to be the afterlife. Exploring an unreal and distorted world full of memories, they'll try to find the answers to every one of their questions. How did they end up in this place? Is there any way to go back to their normal lives? Is there anything beyond this strange place?

This game will feature multiple endings according to your choices. Will you be able to give a second opportunity to Dani and Gabriela? Or maybe, it'll be too late for them? Everything depends on you.
Estimated Length (Full Version): 2 hours.

Without You - Short Demo Available

Hi! The DEMO version of Without You is now available. After a long time without making any progress I decided to continue this project.
This DEMO is very short, just so I can be sure the game is working properly (I hope so).
*Important Details*
  • The DEMO version lasts between 10-15 minutes, no more than that.

  • It contains a shortened version of the game's prologue and chapter I.

  • The "Gallery" option in the main screen is not available (as CGs/endings will only be available in the full version).

  • You can choose English or Spanish as the game language at the start of the game.

*Other Things*
  • As for now, savefiles with a different language than the one you chose at the start of the game won't load. I'll try to find the cause of this soon.

  • The game should use "Rubik-Regular" as the default font for the messages, but encryption seems to be messing it up sometimes. If it doesn't load, the game will use Times New Roman instead.

  • Also, I apologize for the size of the demo. I removed every unused asset/music/effects, but it seems that having 1280x720 as the resolution really has an impact.

Remember to notify me if you find any kind of bug, glitch, etc! This is my first time uploading something made with VNMaker so I'm kind of nervous, haha.
I hope you like it ^^!

Sounds interesting, and I like the visual design.
As soon as I read this, this song chorus repeated itself in my head, see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZsXcc_tC-o

If you listen to the chorus you'll get what I mean. Heard it way too many times I guess.

Back to this, I think it's really cool you can change the language. Does that require more work for you, meaning you in-game change the language word yourself, or can it just do that?

Anyway, this looks like it can turn into something engaging so good luck with it.

That song seems to fit a lot with some topics treated in this game ;)

It isn't that much work actually, VNMaker is pretty friendly with language and translations (this software has a section designed for that).
The players just choose their preferred language at the start of the game.

Thanks for your comment ^^!
Well, the demo works, even if there's hardly anything there/

The visuals on the gamepage itself are pretty compelling though.
