A young woman wakes in a strange place. While it was bright, peaceful, and luxurious, she still felt nervous being alone. How did she even get here, and when?

A voice called out to her. It identified itself as Elena, the Guardian of Paradise Lost. It is a place whose purpose is to give a second chance at life to those recently departed. This second chance is not simply given. It must be earned through various trials.

Suffering from amnesia, the young woman could barely remember her first life. The only thing she could recall was her name, and a desire to cure Iris. She could not recall who Iris was, or what malady she was inflicted with, but, it was all she had. The trials ahead may jog more memories, or perhaps grant something more.

What's next ?
First, thanks you all for playing the game. All your feedback was appreciated and helped me to notice few mistake as well as few bugs.
As such, I will release a update of the current demo in the upcoming weeks.
The main reason is I kind of messed up with one of my system and previous save will sadly not be compatible.
If you still don't want to start from the beginning then a save at the chapter 1 will be available.

What will be new ?
Few minors change overall.
Mostly, the journal will be available at the very beginning. It will contains notes about the main story progress, world info and systems tips.

-A auto-save
-Better FPS (tried my best, but it should be good now)
-GameOver screen as well as choices

-A redone (for most part) beginning of chapter 1
-Some tips about the battle system (like the shards skills for example)

For the battle system, I plan of redo Mathilde basic attack animation, I fixed some weird camera movements, made the yetis more weak to burn state (*hint* *hint* *hint* )and the battler "breathe" (Wanted to do it for a while but can't because of incompatibility issue...Until I noticed my battle system could do what I wanted without a side script...)

That's it for now, I can't exactly say when it'll be ready but it shouldn't take too long.

Stay tuned !

I might consider looking into the size later.
I know I use a lot of pictures but even I was surprised by the actual size.
Anyway, thank you !

Have u tried tinypng to shrink your image resources?
Completly forgot about that x)
Thanks a lot, doing it right now and it work quite well.

Edit: Alright, link updated.
Congratulations. I've played the entire game so far, and I'm already anxious to the next chapter!
I found only a few bugs and one or two grammar errors, but the game is being amazing. Nice spells, great combos. You become used to the characters.
The story is great, it's funny and I like the way the characters envolve.
The boss battles were very nice, they are challenging if you don't know how to use the abilities of your characters.
The city is huge! I lost myself when I entered in it, haha!

Hope the best for you!

Could you tell me more about the bugs you encountered and the grammars error ?
And yes, Felancia is biggest city of the game (and also the biggest city I ever made myself). Well, it is the capital after all. Also it'll be like giant hub later in the game so I'm sure you'll get used to it (but I will probably add a teleport system between each district)
Very glad you like the demo !
"Paradise Lost" is an actual name of the place? Now I feel unobservant for not knowing it sooner.

However, that makes the naming a little bit awkward regardless of John Milton reference.

Really ?
I find it appropriate because the whole plot (and I'm tempted to say "everything") is related/centered to that place.

I personally think "Lost Paradise" sounds better, but that's a matter of preference without seeing the name in full context I think.

By the way, I'm playing through the first dungeon and enjoying it so far!

Ah I see, well to be honest that was the prototype name.
But just like you said, with the full context (more than Milton reference) I decided to change it to the actual name.
Glad you enjoy the demo, don't hesistate to leave a feedback after !
Wait, whaa?

I recognise some of those battle sprites from Infiroad. My mind is blown.
