The world of Psema is a vast and dangerous one. When an entity known as "Mother" reveals to you that Psema's worshipped gods might not be what they seem, you set out on a journey to discover the "Truth", with no real idea of what that entrails, set on a path of betrayal, murder and all too real cruelty. Beware, ignorance is a bliss.

Highlights
-A really, really big world to explore.

-4 different classes to choose from with vastly different gameplays. Your class choice will also affect a multitude of npc interactions, access to various areas and the special, class routes in its visual novel departments.
-A highly detailed world, with tons of collectibles.
-Music carefully selected based on a variety of factors to fit each situation and area of the game. Definitely keep your speakers on.
-The world is not just Lovecraft-inspired. It IS Mythos based.

-Hard, demanding battles. The game is by no means a breeze, but it won't cheat you out of a victory either.
-Gameplay inspired from a combination of Witcher (1), Dark Souls, Eye: Divine Cybermancy, Planescape Torment, and World of Warcraft, with a tiny bit of Pokemon and Dating Sims thrown in.

-Complex, deep character interactions. Debate, bribe, blackmail and flirt your way out of situations... Or just start cutting throats, though there are consequences to everything.

-A multitude of open-ended quests, with even more being added on every patch. Your decisions can have consequences even tens of hours after making them.
-The hardest of bosses are intelligent creatures. You might try offering them a better deal instead of fighting...?

Is the update still coming?

for the update, do we have to download the entire game again? Is there no patch file?
I imported my previous saves over from the last version, but it looks like I can't continue. Whenever I select continue from the main menu I get the following error message:

Unable to find file:
Graphics/Characters/$Hachi2

Until I release it on Steam, no patch files.

Those saves are in Oracle Village with Hachi in the party. I tried removing those saves, and I found I could then load the other saves I have (for a different character class, further back in the game before they meet Hachi). So it seems the only problem is the saves for my furthest character.
Got the same problem with my saves with Hachi in party.

I entered the new dungeon in floor 1(hikari) and those lighting effects slow my game painfully down. (is this not the case on your pc? I consider mine quite decent so I´m curious.)
EDIT: Yea, don´t know why but it works way better today :D still a bit of a slow down but not by much. ---> slowed down more again after a few more minutes.

The new quest for floor 1 is the one for getting the permit, right?
That assasin girl you free in floor 1, In my other playthrough before the new update I encountered her only in floor 1 and 3. Played till beginning of floor 8, did I miss her somewhere? :D

Balance:
The counter attack rate is fixed and that´s great. But now evasion and crit are taking over :D
These are my stats at level 8

I still miss! with that hit rate, that´s kinda off :D
Most of my attacks crit, not all but most.
If I get hit it´s most likely a crit, I almost never get hit by a normal hit.

Floor 1 Boss onehitet adventurer 1 and 2(useless guys :D) because he crittet with every hit that landed.
Floor 2 onehitet my 2 helpers with crit, at least the mage did some damage before getting killed.

Hikari tomb boss:
Out of 10 chain lightning casts he critet with all 10 and every! hit he did was a crit(I tried fighting him a lot, was wishing that was only a bad streak of luck..but nope)
That makes me kinda afraid about those bosses in higher floors with how dominant crit became.

Gonna try again when I get Hana, atm he oneshots me :D

-The assassin girl currently has only those two appearances, working on adding way more, but first I wanna finish the berserker girl's questline, since I've began it.
-I was just playtesting the game myself, and I fixed all the stats now. Will upload a new version very soon (within 2 days max).
-The boss in Hikari's tomb is intentionally made to be broken. Players should either debuff it to death as a bigger party, or convince it to back off otherwise.
-Indeed facing lag as well in the new dungeon (it's because of the enemies patrolling + the dynamic lighting + the sound effects working at the same time. One of these will have to go, I'm just undecided about it for now.

Regarding Hachi: I deleted her character file in order to include her model in another set of characters. Basically what this means is: New saves (or the same saves before you meet her) won't have a problem, and she will work normally. Saves that already had her will indeed get stuck. I'm sorry, but I still think it's better to get these things out of the way before releasing the game officially on Steam in the future.

Edit: Also been working on Floor 14 lately. It will be the best floor yet, by far (when you enter floor 13, which is similar in art style to 14, you will notice a massive quality change in aesthetics, you're gonna love it.)
I have been stuck for a while now I'm inside illfang's tower and I can't find his lair anywhere I also don't know how to free the girl from the prison. can anyone help me out
To free the girl you need to be of the Assassin class.

On the ground floor of illfang´s tower just head north, there´s the exit(some sort of iron bar door)
Thanks for the info but what is the best class for the game I'm a blood magia and the class seems like it's complete garbage is there any great benefit i.e companions or better items if not what class should I pick.

What level are you? Relatively early on, blood magi get a spell that just wipes the whole enemy team at the start of the battle (but keep in mind that there is no way to refill mana/magia besides resting, so you gotta be careful when to use it). (PS: for some classes, leveling at the start is difficult. Complete quests in The Town of Beginnings and around it to get exp quickly and unlock some of your stronger skills.)
I'm level 7 some spills are good but The fact That I can't get much gear like almost none at all coupled with fact I don't know which gear to buy I'm really thinking about switching over to assassin. I also don't know how to get companions. beside the girl behind the cage which I can't get without the assassin class unless I'm mistaken am I.
hello.
went i go to kaliska house with my hero.

You'll get companions starting on the 3rd level/area of the world (so after you beat Illfang, and the boss of the 2nd area, and enter the 3rd area). You will get them automatically. There is a special companion for each character class, but they haven't really been implemented yet (to my understanding). All of the classes have their own benefits, but I think at higher levels the spells of the Blood Magus are the most powerful - and as you go to new areas, new and better equipment will open up.
