Avery is an orphan who was taken in by a small band of thieves who found her abandoned in the forest. One day they go into the village of Elmwood to get some food, and Avery finds out about their problems. Her big heart and bravery soon win over the villagers and she becomes their leader in standing up against the oppressive Empire.

But wait... King Xilan used to be a fair and just Prince. How did he become such a cruel King? And what are the true facts surrounding his succession to the throne? Officially, the previous King fell ill and succumbed to his sickness, but there are those who think he may have been poisoned...

Update 1

-Added STEALTH Skill for Avery, to avoid random encounters
-Improved stats slightly for Marcus
-Added some more NPCs and notes to give information
-Fixed some bugs, including boulder-switch puzzle on 3rd floor of cave, and major bug that stopped progress.
-Added cutscenes and 2 bosses... yeah, I know, it's basically 4 bosses in a row!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Almost all the graphics are the default ones from the engine though, plus some which are mentioned in the credits. This was my first project and mostly learning how to use the program. Not sure where I want to go with the story, so it's on hiatus for now... working on something else at the moment though.
