Good game!

The author has a clear understanding of what makes a scary game scary - atmosphere (music and lighting), jumpscares, puzzle-solving while on a clock, etc. It spooked me, which is rare for a rpgmaker game anymore. And the plot had me interested to the end, even post-credits. I liked it.

I have a few complaints, but nothing major:
-Jump scares were way too loud. Sight-based jumpscares are just as good as sound-based ones, and quiet-but-unexpected is much better than OH GOD MY EARS.
-The fact that the MC is a cat-girl is never addressed. Fill us in!
-I personally hate the credits system - don't punish me for not being perfect by taking away missable, non-refillable resources. Either make regens free or nonexistent (if you want people to feel nervous not because of atmosphere but because it's been awhile since we've saved in this instant-death game).

On another note, it's a little weird how the game doesn't exactly follow the normal pattern for Cthulhu-based games: the more you learn, the worse it gets. For example (spoilers):

When I investigated further after opening a box and got the mysterious key, then opened the hidden room with it, I kindof expected to get a worse ending, maybe where the MC goes insane and worships Hastur, but it seemed to not matter at all. That said, finding out children were being raped by medical staff was more horrific than maybe anything else in the game (although less supernatural, and therefore less fun for me).

Stats: I played on normal mode and don't intend to continue with nightmare for the secrets. My total play time was about 2 hours, including going back for completion/saves where I didn't lose money.

One final note for players: you don't "need" credits to finish the game - every puzzle can be solved by finding what you're looking for. I ended the game with I think 6600 credits. That said, I heartily recommend using them to clear areas that are annoying to navigate, namely the cafeteria and medical area.

(Regarding the doctor's room: That's where you'd get the steam achievement normally: "Help Never Came", in referrence to the "help" written on the walls)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
