It all happened in the spring of new love...

Emily Matsumoto is a freshman at the Mother Mary Academy, a prestigious high school located somewhere in the Japanese countryside. Feeling overwhelmed, she connects with a new transfer student at the school, Miko Tanaka. As the two bond over their love of poetry, stories, and their literature club activities, their friendship slowly becomes something... more. But can Emily deal with the dark secrets in Miko's past? And what depths will Mona, a jealous classmate of Emily's, stoop to to thwart our young lovers?

That Spring Day is a short, romance-themed game made for RMN's Seasons of RMN event. More details are forthcoming as I finish it up. Title screen by me.

I like yuri, I like cherry blossoms, I like refmap character sprites and I like white screw’s tilesets.

I don’t see how this could go wrong.

I like how soft this game is. And I like that it's a spring game.
The story was very sweet and intriguing at the end and I liked the poems. Looking forward to the continuation :)

I meant to write a review, but It wouldn't make the game justice. It's so easy to pick up and play. It was a refreshing experience in that regard. Your custom face were super amusing btw. I love that I learned something about poetry along the way. Also, all of the characters were well-written and interesting.
