Castle Warfare is game planned to be a turn-based tower defense game which turns out to be a strategically resource management game with 15 different scenarios and a total playtime of approximately ~2 - 2.5 hours. The Vx Ace RTP is not required to play.

The game is both playable in English and German.

Defend all the castles
During each scenario, you have to create industrial buildings to farm ressources like wood, rock and ore in order to build various defense facilities. Increasing your defenses will stop enemy waves from destroying your castle. Are you good enough to defend all the castles? And can you even take on a dragon?

Destroy your enemies
In some scenarios, you have to destroy the enemy's castles in their territories by using the catapult. They will build military bases, watchtowers, academies and other buildings to protect themselves from your attacks. Therefore, a solid strategy is everything you need to bring the enemy to their knees and destroy their castle.

Features
• Fight against orcs or dwarves, depending on whether you are in the mountains or in the valley. Be well prepared for new and even stronger enemies.
• Create various buildings, such as sawmills, quarries, ore mines and military bases.
• Create a seaport to trade ressources and fend off enemy attacks with alchemy.
• Destroy enemy castles with the help of infantry or by using a powerful catapult. A tactical combat system is waiting for you, where you need to collect raw material as fast as you can to destroy your enemies.
• Unlock new and awesome buildings, such as watchtowers, townhalls, churches and much more.

Beware of the dragon! (Small Update)



- The dragon now has its own animation (similar to the dwarfs and orcs in the game)
- A small graphical bug has been fixed. (The castles didn't burn after they got torched by a dragon. Now they do.)

So, on the third level, it doesn't seem like there's anything to do with the ore yet, and harvesting it is kind of a trap option that can very easily cause you to waste some crucial turns and get sacked?

Trade it for wood. Ore will become important in the 4th stage.

Yes, you can. But offering all your stone for wood will cost you much more time because you have to refine new stone for creating barricades as well.

Something really need thinks missing, and some also...
Well... builings and doing is less what i wanna.

Story is ... well best it.
Music/sound well... just picture.
Mapping? just needed?
Builing list: LIMITED or to base at Level too much.
Too much do that now, nothing FREE really.

Hey there! I don't know if you will see it, but I really like it! It's a shame it's only 10 levels, though :(

I'm stuck on the level 7 with the dragon, I can't figure how to withstand its attack, any hint?

Also, a few suggestions :

- Different game modes (campaign, quick play, endless)
- A progression system for the campaign with perks (bonus ressources, more hp, etc.)
- More scenarios :p

You can survive the dragon's attack by having full HP (150), but you have to additionally protect yourself with the Hurricane spell. This will do the trick.

I have good news for you: I'm currently working on (up to five) new scenarios, but they will be slightly different from the other ones. It will mainly be about attacking and destroying enemy castles. :)

Yes, I'm pretty sure that there should be no real problems if you copy your old save file into the new folder. However, the status option may not work properly because some stages were shifted and rearranged. If you can do without it, that's not a problem.

I'll announce it again when the download is ready.

I've updated the download link because the previous version had an RGSS error that occurred when pressing Escape in the loading menu. Probably nobody noticed that anyway.

You're probably the only one around here who has looked carefully enough to find this bug. And I'm very thankful for that because without you I would probably never have come across this mistake. Thanks again for your walkthrough.
You'd be surprised how many bugs I manage to walk into. Heck, I found a bug in a game that took less then five minutes to beat and I found two game breaking bugs in a Halloween themed game I played today.
Ok, wow it seems like you've an eye for this. xD Well, I'm glad there weren't even more bugs in my game so it seems like I tested carefully enough to avoid such things as game breaking bugs. They're the most annoying experience for every player, I guess.

Hm, I'm trying to figure out if I should do any more fine tuning on this game the next year or if I should leave it as it is. I'm very happy with this project, but some ideas wouldn't hurt. So, if possible, leave me some feedback on mapping, graphics, or if I should do some cutscenes to implement a story. Or did you like the game as it is?
