A bun-tastic adventure!

Hello!
today I'm here because I made an oath in 2019: I swore that I was going to review this game, after playing and reviewing the cool Night of the Lapinoids (here).
To tell the truth I already played this game but at the time I totally forgot to review it! Well, time to do what I promised.

Mr. Bun-Bun's Pastel Adventure is a dumb game made for the RMN'S Everybody Make a Dumb Game This Weekend event by Haely with RPG Maker 2000. And if you know what you can expect, anyway let's see...

In Pastel Adventures play as Mr. Bun Bun, that is a BUNny and has to collect the four joyful gems to help the Church of Pastel of his village to organize a festival. That's it. The game is quite short and has just three outdoor areas (village, forest and festival) and about five indoor areas, so yes, less than three maps (that are ok, well made enough even if not that special or memorable, and indoors areas are better, I think), BUT these are all creammed with creatures and interactables, and are very fun to explore, due to the dialogues and the many interactions available, including some that will explain a bit the cult of the Church of Pastel and of the Goddess.
The graphics uses the classic White Screw Shop resource pack (I wrote classic since already seen in Night of the Lapinoids, Yummy Breakfast and other games by this dev), and music and sound are instead made by Maou Damashii, TAM Music Factory, and Vita-chi Sozaikan. What can I say? Infinitely better than the old Rtps!

Don't worry, Chickadee won't stop us entering the s̶e̶c̶r̶e̶t̶ ̶b̶a̶s̶e̶ basement!

The gameplay is pretty simple: leave the village, collect the gems (that are impossible to miss, really! These are huge!) and bring them to the festival. Or NOT! Yes, the game has no combat, puzzles or hazards where Mr. Bun Bun can risk his life, after all this is a peaceful land inhabited by peaceful and cute animals, isn't it? But you can save anywhere, if you really want to.

But no, unlike Yummy Breakfast and Night of the Lapinoids this game features more than just one ending! Three, to be precise, and while the normal ending, in which you complete the task, is pretty cool and unexpected, the two extra endings are really better and one is particularly fun too! Anyway the whole game can be completed in five minutes if you do not spend (or waste!) time interacting with every single living or inanimated thing, but given that this was expressively made for the RMN'S Everybody Make a Dumb Game This Weekend event, I guess it's appropriate!
Well I'd say more, BUT I fear I'd spoil the (short) story of Bun Bun and the possible outcomes, so... let's end this here!

Final Verdict
Uhm it's difficult saying more about a game that will last no more than five minutes, anyway this is a cute, dumb, colorful and silly little adventure that can be probably explored 100% in 15 minutes, anyway I did not find mapping errors, spelling errors or other problems. It's all good, as short and simple as Yummy Breakfast (whose similitudes do not end here, but I shall not tell you more!) but with more content, more endings and I think more fun. Ok, do not expect anything else since there are no puzzles or sidequests, just one single fetch quest, but in the end this is not bad at all.
