Story:

Over two centuries ago, a massive war between men was causing devastation across the world. A powerful race of magic-users called Elves created the Elvenpath, a portal to different dimensions, hoping they might find something to put an end to this bloodshed. The result was destruction far beyond the capability of man and while it did end the war, the Elves agreed that this path should never be used again. And so they sealed it away and moved to other far off lands to help rebuild civilization...

Today, an army lead by Emperor Talis is moving to conquer the other three governing powers of the world. However, the Emperor’s son Dajus seems to have his eyes set on a small tribe of mages nestled deep within a dense forest. What is it about this small tribe that’s so important to him? And does it have any connection to the events that transpired over two hundred years ago?

Our Heroes:

Owen
Age: 16 Gender: Male
A warlock from the Neflin tribe and a student of swordplay. His mom got him to start learning the way of the sword at a young age in the hopes of teaching him some discipline; And while it’s done nothing to take away his rebellious and sarcastic attitude, he has developed a fierce loyalty to his friends and family as well as an unwavering desire to not fail those who depend on him.

Eva
Age: 16 Gender: Female
A cleric from the Neflin tribe and daughter of its chief, Ozias. She’s been putting Owen, and every other kid for that matter, in line since early childhood. She can be bossy, haughty, and a little too assuming… but that’s only because she seems to always be correct in her assumptions and intuition. She’s definitely the daughter of a chief and it’s her leadership and keen sense of judgment that makes her the perfect heir.

Carter
Age: 60 Gender: Male
An inventor who lives with Dwarves in the Tutankhamen mountain range. He’s been living there ever since he was banished from Tutankhamen for supporting the Magic-Users… and for blowing up his share of workshops with his more “unsuccessful” inventions. While not the best at his craft, he does have some contraptions that’ll come quite handy on the battlefield.

Mielikki
Age: 14 (In wolf years) Gender: Male
The prince of a wolven kingdom. Mielikki shares several characteristics with his canine brethren: loyalty, determination, and a little mischievousness. His level-headedness can only be rivaled by Eva herself. However, the realization that he will soon take the throne has been putting him out of sorts lately. He will need the support of his friends in order to overcome the trials he will soon face…

Randil
Age: 30 Gender: Male
A drifter who was once the respected son of a noble. It’s a history he mostly keeps to himself however as he is a man of few words. His level of loyalty and effort is only determined by the price you’re willing to pay. After that, he’s a man of his word; and he’s quite an asset to have in battle, especially if you need to deal a little more elemental damage.

Marce
Age: 29 Gender: Female
A wise cracking mercenary out for vengeance against the Neu-Eden Empire. She and Geargin were once soldiers of the Empire until they were left for dead by their troop some time ago. Since then, they’ve been up to anything that’ll stick it hard to their former employer. Marce is a lancer with tricks up her sleeve that’ll mess with the constitutions of any enemy.

Geargin
Age: ??? Gender: Male
A pyromaniac, through and through! The reason why he has stuck with Marce all these years is a genuine mystery… mostly because most of what he says is unintelligible to everyone (including Marce). But what he may lack in diction, he more than makes up for in making enemies go *BOOM*. So if your party’s lacking that “spark”, bring in Geargin to liven things up!

Belle
Age: 30 Gender: Female
The queen of Paladium, the last barrier between Neu-Eden and world domination. Though if you focused solely on how Belle reacts to such a dire situation, you would think it would be nothing to worry about. She has faith in her people’s strength and is not afraid to join the fight herself. She is the people’s queen and it’s her strong desire to protect her subjects that earns her this title.

I still have the installer downloaded. I'll re-install it. This actually isn't the first time I've had an issue with the VX Ace engine. I also have Umbral Soul, and Umbral Soul's game.exe keeps randomly disappearing. I don't have that issue with Elvenpath, oddly enough though...

Umbral Soul is being flagged by your antivirus (it's a false positive so don't worry). Just tell your AV to ignore it and it should stop vanishing.
Really? That's weird... good choice with Umbral Soul, btw. Great game.

Yeah, I'm actually writing the Wiki for Umbral Soul.

Also, I reinstalled Elven Path and I still have the same issue. I'm gonna try installing it in a different location, and then copying the save file over, see if that works. One second.
Nope. Same exact issue. My save file is corrupted, would be my guess. Guess I'll have to start over. Man, that sucks. I was strong too. Well, for the area I was in. I grind and power level, so I was level 12 there. And it's a good thing I power level, too. Each area hits you fucking hard. Just because you can survive the ghost ship, doesn't mean you can survive Mt. Pollum. Those werewolves are OP as fuck....
Really? I thought I lightened up on the difficulty this time around. lol I believe it does lighten up from then on though. Mt.Pollum is an optional area and you're able to come back to it later. The lava cave and Nezzer Cave are very high level areas too so hopefully you didn't feel like you had to get through those either. Anyway, I'm sorry about what happened. Be sure to keep the feedback comin'. Thank you.
Hey, Beledal, I just started Elvenpath over again and I can't figure out where the blasted monkey went... I found him the first time on the path, then in the tree house (the one with the barrel puzzle), but I can't find him again...

Nevermind, I seem to have skipped it accidentally by talking to Mom... Oh well.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. The monkey is hiding in a human suit and is amongst the crowd of people. The reward is a healthy amount of gold so nothing essential. Don't sweat it.
Small update on what I'm doing: I'm currently planning a sequel for this game. I'm doing the rough map designs now and working on the story. If anyone knows of artists who could do facesets for me, please let me know. Also looking for original music for both Elvenpath and this sequel. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Beledal

It's completed. Enjoy and let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
Hey Beledal!

Did you know, if you want to, you can go to Manage Games under your account name, click the game, then choose Status * in the box select Complete, to update it.

Then it will appear as complete with that label too, for everyone who searches games on this site, and for everyone viewing this game here to know as well, that's what kenlan meant, but that's also up to you, if you want to do that.

Thank you for playing, BlackElk! Doing the maps right now. It's been a much faster process than it was for the first Elvenpath. If I don't slow down at any point, I can get this guy done in a year or two. Anyway, thanks again!
Hello.EDIT 3:i find the code. But why was i three in my prty there once and now only two?Get me not wrong. i really like the game.
I must have missed some info, because how to do the stealth mission with the guards around the cells? I tnink(deramed? ) i killed one, but whatever i do i must fight hem and start over in the area. It`s ok to the guard watching the stair (celdoor)up
Nice to see you have one more completed game, please say that it`s not much stealth things in Elvenpath.
EDIT:I took an earlier savefile and now i think i understand how and where to go.
EDIT 2: A question,
what code?and what maybe new guard that has it written?
what code?and what maybe new guard that has it? so many encounters(if only flee was 100) .I have found the code but how is the easiest wat to go back down and åut the code in?i can see that the levers has different colours but that doesn`t help me.
