Name: Sorceress To Be

Developer: Kylaila

Story: You are a dragon sorceress visiting an amusement park! Not much more to it than that. You basically wander around the amusement park getting into shenanigans, and maybe getting yourself killed a couple times.

Writing: Detailed, whimsical, but unfortunately all-too-brief. The game doesn't take long to play but it's full of imagination and whimsy. Each page gives as detailed a description of your surroundings and feelings as possible and has a wonderfully subtle way of describing things as they happen. Beyond this, there's really not much more describe without actually spoiling the game, so I'll move on to gameplay.

Gameplay: This really is just a small, cute text-story. You open with four options, of them being to choose to go home, which gives you the quickest ending of them all. The other three options are to go to the haunted house, go to the ferris wheel, or to go find food. The main choices at the end of a description are usually highlighted, but on virtually every page, there are other important words throughout the screen that are highlighted. Clicking on these words will usually just elaborate on what the main character is thinking, such as her thoughts on the Unwellness Corporation, but quite often, clicking on them will advance the story. This can unlock other paths that may not have been apparent through the main choices. Again, though, the game is quite short, so unless you're a slow reader, you won't spend long going through everything there is to go through, but it does give the sense of an expanding story and gives you quite a bit to look at. Depending on the routes you take, you can find several endings. If you don't, you'll be shuffled back to the opening page and asked to make a new choice.

Conclusion: You're a dragon sorceress visiting an amusement park. How can you not be interested and is there any doubt in your mind that it's going to be absolutely adorable. Spoiler alert: it is absolutely adorable. I just wish there were more. I would not object to having hours to explore this amusement park. Mind you, this is a text adventure, so those of you who simply must have graphics in your game will probably want to skip. Otherwise, as long as you don't have any critical objections to anything that even hints at fantasy, you'll probably enjoy it. As for how I rate this? Well, I mean, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. No problems I can see. I absolutely loved the little story. And you know, it's just a day at the amusement park. Except it happens to be a fairy tale amusement park, and you happen to be a dragon, and most of the other patrons happen to be a dragon, and there's evidence that earth elementals are also visiting this park. What can I do?

I am so glad you wrote a review as well. (for the number of current downloads to be graced with not one, but two reviews is a miracle already)

I am even happier you enjoyed it as much as you did!
Ininitially I thought I could add more to it (say, making those chicken shaped candies less boring), but at some point I was happy to call it done.
That said, I have been having a blast writing on this, and it would be easy to add more to it. So... maybe? Maybe.

Fun fact: I have never been to a big amusement park, though it would be lovely to write on the likely feel of it. I did love the small ones as a kid to pieces, though. Even if my last memory with the one in town wasn't as happy, haha.

Again, thank you! Those last three sentences are the most fun jolly goodness to read and made my day.
