A game about game making & makers

I played this game by mistake.
Yah! I was almost sure the title was a reference to a controversial developer (or dev, dev sounds cooler!) whose works I liked a lot for some weird reason since they were bizarre and incomplete. Oh, well despite this mistake I played this piece of art, a game about a conflict among developers, or, better, it's about a special dev and his bizarre adventures (like Jojo, more or less!). As usual I won't spoil the story since I'd spoil half of the fun.

If this is not an instructive dialogue, I do not know what it is!

This game is a very basic and easy adventure, so don't expect a complex or difficult adventure, but you will have a linear FUNNY story full of FUN FUN FUN, entertaining dialogues, bizarre situations and some (easy) combat sections. And funny situations and dialogues. That's it.

Music is good (Lupin III theme? Oh yeah!), mapping is simple but good, resources are varied and the story is amazing, there are in fact some astonishing plot twists that surprised me, maybe the best one was the fact that this game isn't related to that dev whose name is so similar to the title of the game. But uhm, ok!

Acceptance becomes also a ton of fun if you recognizes the various characters that live in this fantasy world. There are so many quirky characters that I cannot choose a favourite, even if the Afro dude protagonist is a memorable hero.

One thing I liked a lot was that this game gives you an insight of the life of a developer: overcoming challenges, learning what events are, waiting for the game to be submitted... every activity is found in this game. Ok, it's not realistically rapresented, but when you play as a fantasy hero you don't do the realistic activities of a historical medieval knight, so what do you expect?

cool guys don't look at explosions

Verdict
There are five reason to play this game: It's fun, it's free, it's easy, it doesn't require additionsl DLCs and it's fun.
The rating? This is the hard part: if you do not know what is Rpgmaker and its community it will be -1/5 stile instead if you visited regularly some site called rpgm*k*r.net the rating is 6/5!
So? Take your conclusions and play it anyway (jokes will be entertaining even if you are not a community commoner, I assure you)

Seriously, I cannot give a serious score since you can hate or love this game. I admit I laughed a lot, so I can confirm that this game is entertaining. 30 minutes of pure fun. Trust me.
And if you will not like this game please make a better one.
I DARE YOU!
