Oh god, the suspense is KILLING me. Just what fairy tale is this? Is it Hansel and Gretel? Red Riding Hood? Rapunzel? WHAT COULD IT BE?

I really dig how it emulates a look of an rm game, while being more sleek than any true 2k creation.
Frankly, that got me curious about the gameplay.

:O whoa thanks, yeah I'm trying to avoid a lot of the pitfalls of rm2k while still trying to emulate what i like about rm software. Idk some people who defect to other engines tend to make completely different games (including myself).

The main issue a lot of horror games face is these awkward encounters where an enemy goes "Event Toward Player" I think I managed to avoid partially that problem? But I'm really curious to what aspects are solved based on feedback from people who are really used to RM games.

and thanks to everyone interested!

So I had been planning to play this super intrigued by what fairy tale it was gonna be and just had it spoiled today because SOMEONE thought it was a good idea to put the name of the fairy tale in their youtube video title UGH

anyway tho I finally gave it a go and had lots of fun!! The ending is a bit abrupt but otherwise this was actually way better than I expected it to be. The UI in particular was really neat, alongside pretty much everything else visually, actually.

Congrats you've beaten the game! I didn't really add a way to return to menu if that's what you mean by freezing.

So, I finally managed to play and beat the game. Just one question, is there supposed to be an actual boss fight? Because I just shot it and the game ended there.

I enjoyed the game and I plan on writing a positive review with many references to horror games I've never played. I got some resident evil vibes for example (mansion, fights).
@Cap: Yeah there's no boss fight, there was going to be, but time had to be cut short so there's a bit of an anti climax there.
I just love this game's style and atmosphere.
This was a very nice experience
I loved the pixel art style and the atmosphere. It fits my taste petfectly. As a Lovecraft's fan I loved the cult motive. Thank you
WHERE IS THE MOTHER
