This is my entry for IGMC 2018 but a more fixed and updated version which I plan to make commercial once complete.

Summary
You take control of Josie and explore a scary mansion, discover bodies, lots of blood, and all you have equipped is a trusty flashlight. For the moment there is only an intro, but there is lots to explore and a few things to check.

Concerning the links, IGMC version is the older version and contains alot of bugs, the other version should be fully fixed with a battery UI(which doesn't change anything yet).

Story
Josie and her five co-workers enter a mansion, the doors locked behind them. What will they find, and how will they escape? Will who or what haunts this mansion capture Josie or will she succumb to whatever haunts the house before she can escape?


Characters:

Josie
A young girl, this is her first time working at the new job. Her first day is the worst day of her life, thrown into the mansion where everything bad happens.

Charles
A co-worker of Josie, very close friends since Josie joined.

Setting
The setting is based in a mansion which seems to be abandoned - bloody bodies everywhere, food left untouched, TV's left on with no signal.

The story will be planned in future updates.

  • You only have equipped is a flashlight, which requires batteries, and depletes when used.

Update 1.6

In this version of the update, there is an intro added, the room you start with is slightly altered(new colours, new walls, and added a hiding spot for the tutorial). Also an option in options so you can hide/show if you want to see hiding interactions.

So.. I just started the game and first, i don't know how i can save but that's okay, i can figure this out and second i seem to have a bug while entering a room, well while trying to enter it ; i juste get stuck in the door between the walls and when i exit i just get send to another room far away from the corridor i was in. Really strange even though i think the game as great graphics and a great atmosphere. I just started but i will see if there is anything more to add.

And yes, there's more. At the end, i did every room that was accessible, searched every cupboard i could acess and when i saw that the door was locked.. I just raged. No. I'm sorry, but no. I am disappointed about that game and i won't continu playing it. Sorry.
OK I have several questions. First of all I really have to apreciate your efforts or, as I can see, all your m8s involved with the proyect. Nice. The game looks very good, in fact one of the points I really like is about its atmosphere of that horror You wanna put the gamer on, as obscure and hostile as the graphic engine of the VX Ace let you. In addition I found the music very appropiate with the game itself, It really makes a only one entity. That's superb.

But, why do you said that you would keep updating the game? If you wanna continue with this, in my opinion, at first finish all the unlimited bugs the game has. Really, there are a lot of them:

-Josie can trespass tables as she wants.
-Besides, I remember a puddle of blood in the second floor maybe that, literally your cannot walk on it, it seems like and object and that's strange.
-What's the matter with the doors? Sometimes I cannot go to another room properly (only if I turn back, walk a little bit and them I can go through the door). But the big problem comes with that green door in the second floor that, I supose It can let you go upstairs to a third floor or something. Ok, you can't. You just get bugged "inside the door" (sounds strange, but prove it).
-And what's the point of all this? It's more like a have-a-tour-thorugh-a-mansion simulator than a scary-as-hell game as you say. Only turn on the flaslight (useless considering all the mansion is well iluminated) and some lamps in the hall.
-No action, no objects to take, no story than the posted here. Why isn't even a short introduction?

Again, as I said earlier, the game has a lot of potential but fails with several and vital functions. In my opinion and moreover you are into a competition as I guess, better finish all you want with all the features you have in mind and so, and then, lunch the game. Because to me so far, It is a failure.

If you paid attention she said she didn't have a story for it yet. Not sure if she does now.
thanks to those that have played the game. But like i said in the description if u read it, I said right now there is no story. All u can do is explore and enjoy the atmosphere. Sorry to disappoint those that have played it.

Like i said in description there is no story, I'm sorry about the bugs u encountered, you must have played the IGMC version, as the other version is fully fixed. I should've mentioned that I apologize.
