Apartment Simulator by pbjelly246
Length: ~5 minutes

Apartment Simulator is a very small little game about interacting with things. In your apartment. There is no story here, you are simply a woman who has gotten home after being out. You have no task, such as going to sleep, you're simply left to wander around. In your apartment. There is some dialogue you get by interacting with objects here and there, but nothing besides small flavor text.

Visually, apartment simulator is a pretty good looking game. The mapping is pretty good and the apartment itself is pretty realistic. I love the little visual actions such as climbing into your bath or sitting on your couch, they all really add a lot to the game. In your apartment. The light effects actually look pretty great, all things considered. I love how every light in the house can be turned on and off, it feels very Gone Home. In your apartment. The only little nitpick here is that the purple outline on the character looks a bit weird. I recommend replacing the purple with a dark outline color. Otherwise, Apartment Simulator doesn't have anything I can really criticize in terms of visuals.

Took me a while to figure out what I was holding in my hand, but I managed to learn through environmental storytelling and subtle clues. Truly masterful writing. In your apartment.

There is no music in the game. However, the little sound effects for interacting with everything make it feel much more alive. The footstep sound effects included. Apartment Simulator in general is a very well polished game that always feels ''fluent'', if that makes sense. The small things make even just moving around feel fun. In your apartment.

As I've mentioned, there is no gameplay or story here. In your apartment. So not really much to bring up in regards to those. The game's enjoyable enough without them, so I don't find the lack of them to be a real problem. Oh, that being said, I actually never found out what to do with the book, so I just assume it has no use in the current version.

I think that's the best way to describe Apartment Simulator in general. It's fun. It's a very brief game that will hardly even take 5 minutes of your time, so definetly give this one a go. I'm stoked to see where future updates will take Apartment Simulator. I give Apartment Simulator 6 apartments out of 5. In your apartment.

Go for it, I think this game is actually right up your alley
In all fairness, bird shrapnel isn't as deadly as wood shrapnel
Been needing to check this one out; between this game and Bedtime Adventures, I definitely need to take a lesson out of their books in terms of game substance. :o
You can sit on your couch and read the book... You know, as long as you're not being distracted by television.
"nothing can beat the power of gay"?
Oh neat! Gotta try that one out soon.
