Comedic Nostalgic Challenge

Gameplay: This is a retro challenging role playing game. There is no grinding and you have to use strategy to win. There are limited amounts of battle. You can expect to save your progress and rest up often early in the game. You have a tank, rogue, wizard, and a healer. Exploring everything will make this game easier as you progress. Get stat boost from capturing butterflies, find hidden treasures by blowing up cracks in the walls, collect herbs and fish, and dig up weird looking tiles on the floor to get more resources.

Skipping things may cause the game to be really challenging as you progress. Those stat boost that you can miss out on add up over time. Your decisions in the story will impact how hard the game can be. Your party member's positions are locked in this witty turn base role playing game. It is not rocket science but if you do not use your noggin- you can expect to die often.

Plot: Tales of Yuria is a heartwarming story about slaying a dragon and finding love. The main character is Sir Edwin of Dungbottom who is your typical warm-hearted run of the mill knight. He finds himself rejected because of his background and status. He almost gives up till he bumps into a fated connection at the bar. He finds himself getting involved with a quest to slay a dragon! If you're looking for some light-hearted humor to cheer you up this game will definitely do it! The determined knight, jaded rogue, underestimated mage, and pompous cleric will have you chuckling as you progress through the game. These characters will grow on you and it makes you want to see what happens to them in the next installment.

Music: These tunes are catchy tunes and fitting as you progress through the game. Especially the battle themes!

Verdict: Fun game! I laughed a lot from beginning to end. I was relieved that there was no need to grind for levels. I explored every nook and cranny in the first play through and still find myself missing somethings. The difficulty makes it a lot more satisfying as you beat the game. Despite missing things- I still beat the game with ease. I would love to play it again! Can't wait for the rest of this series to come out!
