Really? Well I started making games in the 2010s and I've never seen anyone make 2k3 games with animations this impressive.

You know this game is really similar to that one Simpsons meme that was circulating around on youtube with all the edits and stuff that was genuinely funny and does make a pretty good short joke game.

And you call it an original game despite the fact that these great animations that look surprisingly charming when compressed into 2k3's color format are very impressive despite the fact that I've never actually seen you show off any of your art.

(I must also acknowledge that this was a very clever interpretation of the meme and I love the little details like the game crashing when the firetrucks arrive and the JRPG credits that made me laugh. If I may voice one complaint, I would say that I wish there was a bit more branching in the story all the way throughout rather than just a gameover and an extra ending in the final battle.)

Yeah,
I wanted to mention this cause Kaempfer pointed this out as well, during testing. There were some things that I definitely wanted to add more to:
...Ultimately, I decided against these ideas, cause I wanted to keep the run time of the youtube video down to 6 minutes as much as possible. Some of the best steamed hams memes are 3 minutes to 6 minutes in length, anymore than that I was worried I'd risk losing my audience’s attention etc. So that’s why this game is as short as it is.
Having said that, I really appreciate this review! it’s so clever and it’s so well done Frogge, especially the little details in Chalmers dialogue XD. It really means a lot! But yeah man, this was a really cool read. Thank You dude♥!

I actually wanted Seymour and Chalmers to go to a Final Boss Fight with Zeromus from Final Fantasy 4:
The joke was originally gonna be like. When you say "YES/YES" Chalmers looks down, looks up, Skinner smiles and then suddenly you're fighting Zeromus from Final Fantasy 4, with Chalmers as an edited Edge (cause he already has the gray hair) and Skinner as Cecil - ...But the problem was, I couldn’t figure out how to get the background to play correctly, for Zeromus's big bang attack, because Cherry’s picture-in-battle feature can only do so much. (it doesn’t wrap around, like frames or panoramas do in rpgmaker2003, but if it did, I would've went with this idea instead.

I'm super happy this review actually worked, I kinda bullshitted some of it to fit the meme format, a bit more than I'd honestly like to admit. As for the ending branch thing, yeah, I guess wanting to keep it to 6 minutes for the sake of having it be more like youtube videos makes sense, so I'll give it a pass.

Have you ever had those moments in school, where the teacher would use someone else's paper as a great example, of a really good paper? This review is that paper! Like, it's so funny and yet so informative, I kinda wanna see, how this format would work for other games reviews, because it's just so well done. XD
