Helen is a young woman who hardly ever leaves her home. Bored one night, she turns on the TV only to see a broadcast announcing an evacuation for her neighborhood. Locked inside, she must solve puzzles in order to find the key and escape her house.

Room Escape was inspired by a challenge on the RPGMakerweb forum: create a game that has only one map, 10 events, 10 switches, and 10 variables. The original version hewed to these limitations quite closely, but the full version will be... not quite greatly expanded, but it will have a lot more content. Look forward to it!

Special Edition now available

I am pleased to announce that, after some delay, the Special Edition version of Room Escape is now available! This version features more TV channels, more hints about the background of the game, and a quiz minigame that comes with a bonus ending if you beat it. Barring any bugs that might pop up, this will be the final version of this game, but I am kicking around the idea of doing a sequel, with much more to do. We'll see.

Can't figure out the answer to question 4#. :/
Thanks.

I would say it doesn't make sence that there lived a while ago 2 people if there is just on Bed.

I would consider the idea of an extended version. With more rooms and more things to do. Maybe a few reminder flashbacks to find out more. Or something like a timeline. So that Lenore is still alive, then death, how Hellen deals with the loss, every now and then about the aliens and then the current with the evacuation. So you can see how it came to the current events.
What do you think about?

headcanon: they were laying on top of each other when sleeping
Btw. the name thomas is nowhere in the game to be found.
So it's not possible to find the answer in the game.

Actually, if you watch the TV while it's on the first channel:

Thomas Johnson's finest hour, in...
Night of the Living Husks!

I see.
I thought that I might miss something there.
Now I know I did. XD
short, easy, and funny. Good combination if you look for spending some free time. Not the best out there, but it's ok I guess, although
hiding a key in the toilet could be a little "freaky".
