Version 1.9 Notes:

As a reminder:
- This is a Suikoden FAN GAME, meaning it takes place in the Suikoden universe. It is not a remake or continuation of Suikoden one or two.
- You will see characters from the suikoden games however.
- To activate tester features, you must enter Tester as your hero name. This can also be done/changed at Snowy Hill and in the hero's room in the intro. This will NOT be in the final release.

For the Intro Area:
- Removed one intro movie from the game. It was really not needed.
- A number of areas have gotten a slight to mild visual map upgrade.
- Additional areas have also been added, to flush a few things out, and create a more polished experience.
- Added an additional save point and name change area, just in case.
- A few areas have seen a visual improvement, just for effect.
- Fixed several encounters that may have led to a crash (1 in 100 chance).
- Fixed an encounter that absolutely nothing could happen. It was a bad, bad boy.
- Fixed an encounter that incorrectly linked to a death event.
- Added a few healing points in the into areas, cause well... you can die there. Dieing sucks.
- A new ending has been added in this area. It was an odd request, but one that fit.

For the Cthulhu Mythos Area:
- Corrected a number of errors that could result in the game crashing during the introduction of the world.
- New possible ending during the Sean/Ryan rescue mission. The number of endings is... I honestly don't remember. I think 22 or 24?
- Added a few new environmental effects to various maps.
- This includes, but not limited to, new weather effects, hazards (failing roads, sink holes, buildings coming apart) and so on.
- Additional lore points have been added to the game. You will find these scattered around the entire map.
- Fixed several events in Snowy Hill that could lead to events playing before they were supposed to.
- In addition to a number of story points being cleaned up to better reflect the story, a number of story assistance characters have been redone to be more clean on what needs to be done, and what has been done.
- Additional random instances of hero, not liking to kill and voicing an opinion about it have been added. This is JUST for story purposes and does not affect game play at all.
- Fixed an error that could prevent a character from being recruited.
- Depending on your actions (or non-actions) NPCS in Snowy Hill will not react to you differently.
- Items and services here may also be added or denied based on the same action/inaction.
- Fixed another series of errors that could play out with the kid and her money pouch side quest. I honestly had no idea she was being such a greedy jerk about it.
- Additional side things can be done in Dunwich, which can also unlock an additional bad ending.
- Fixed a number of errors that could lead to various crashes during optional war battles.
- Made a few changed to the SCP area in the game. In additional to a cleaner overall experience, one can now quickly get from the top floor to the bottom now.
- Salem has undergone a complete visual upgrade and now better reflects the craziness of the Queen of magic there.
- THANKS ERIN FOR NEVER SHUTTING UP ABOUT IT. YES I KNOW IT WAS YOUR VOICE, AND NO I DON'T CARE!
- Fixed an error in Salem that would prevent a blood crystal from not being destroyed. Freaking cheater.
- The number of blood crystals has been reduced from three to one.
- In additional to this the blood crystal powers up all enemies (including boss) in the area. Destroying it, kills the buff.
- Destroying the crystal is no longer required to face the Witch Queen.
- Number of bullet events during the meeting of The Witch Queen has been reduced.
- A number of corrections were done to Danvers to assure the events played out the way they should. This also includes allowances for some creative ways to solve things.
- Major tweaking and balancing pass on the whole of Danvers.
- Fixed an error in the first level of Danvers that would cause it to not be compatible.
- Fixed an error with floor five puzzles in Danvers that would prevent completing it, and also prevent bonus.
- Fixed an error with Danvers floor six that would prevent it from being completed. I have fired the minister responsible and shall spank it.
- Fixed a grievous error that would prevent many of the puzzles on floor seven from being able to compete.
- These have been fixed and additional lines of code have been added as a catch all. This should prevent such problems from happening again, no matter what is done.
- World Boss: Four world bosses have been added into the game, first world. They are very Cthulhu themed and are hard to fight. You will know they are near by flying hooded figures appearing in area on the world map.
- In addition to the above, if you lose a fight with the world boss you will be teleported away.
- There is also a hidden quest associated with this boss group, and can be completed at the SCP.
- A few additional endings have been added by request or it seems like it fit.
- New enemy: Vengance Cultist. These cultists will randomly appear after the destruction of a cult and attack you. They can appear in any random battles and abilities will be based on what cult they are from.
- I moved a number of npcs around, and opened up a few areas for people who waited too long to get side quests done.
- I have invested a considerable amount of effort to give the player every chance they could in order to get side quest, hidden items, and events to complete. If you screw it up, its on you.
- The battle and city of Arkham are now in the game and ready for testing. With it, and the Arkham arch, the first world is now complete. What a trip it's been!

General:
- You will notice over this and the next couple of patches, eyes disappearing. Any and all characters sprites that do not have eyes are now npcs.
- This is to help the player see who's a major character and who is not.
- Fixed a number of errors that could cause the sprite for player characters not to appear.
- Fixed the position of a number of enemies in battle. They just didn't look right.
- Shattered World Map now reflects the world map for the first world, instead of just the place holder graphic.
- Corrected a number of file location errors that could cause the game to crash.
- Additional items to the lore and help desk has been added.
- Runes, in my opinion, are a great magic system, but never really used to the fullest extent or for anything fun. So you will see in this and later patches, runes (they just have to be in your inventory) able to power certain devices, burn down wood in the way, and so on. Expect more as the game continues.
- The cellphone in your inventory is not just for a flash light now. It will help keep track of side quests (just one atm) and what is still needed.
- Fix numerous bugs that would cause the game to crash or images not to show up. I hate them and glad they are dead.
- Added a basic side quest system into the game. ! and ? will appear when an npc has a quest or when you can fulfill said quest.
- Fixed bugs with the war system. Should be working just fine now.
- Previous four major war battle maps (Innsmouth to Danvers) have seen various visual upgrades.
- Additional areas have been added to these maps as well, to aid in the new SCP side quest.

Actor:
~ Rolla, the guy who will give you a heads up on what kind of ending you will get from the first world, has been redone to better inform you what to still do, what's done, and if you are on the right path. If he is all smiles, they you are going good.
~ Go Leor, everyone's favorite shape shifting whore, now has two additional forms. In addition, fixed several bugs that prevented him from leveling up his first form.

Story:
~ Additional instances of the main character mentioning he didn't like a random killing has been added to the game. This was mostly done for story reasons, but will also stop after a certain point in the game.
~ Additional triggers added to certain side events, allowed the player more than one way to see events play out.

Wars:
- Arkham war has been added to the game, and it is not easy. Better make sure you have everything done and SAVED before you fight it.

Database Work:
- New Rune: Added for the completion of the big four world boss quest line. It will be of great help for the final boss of the Cthulhu Mythos world and extra bosses.
- New Rune: Solitude rune, the cheat rune from Sukikoden 2.
- Corrected an error with one of Sean's dolls. It was not granted the correct number of abilities.
- Thorn Aura: When attacked, a set amount of damage will be done to the attacker, has been fixed and is now working properly.
- ALL monsters have had their drop list expanded and now can possibly drop a rune based on their character.

Maps:
~ Many visual additions and path/porting issues fixed.
~ Several NPCS added in Snowy HIll that will give various clues what to do next, what's going on, and triggering certain events.

Either I'm being silly, or this suggests there is some kind of game/demo to download. If so, you left out where such a thing can be found?

*Edit: To wit, I don't see anything in the "Downloads" tab for this game. Though, it did occur to me of the possibility that there could there be a news item concerning this via the Facebook group that's mentioned on the main page?
Marrend was faster than me, i hope it`s not only on facebook, because i don`t have it and will not have it.
Hey guys,

You know, I could have sworn I put the download link in there! Must not have done it right, I blame my old age :P In any case, the facebook group does have the download link in it, and is for general discussion, however it will be here as well. Sorry about that guys!

Edit: So apparently some idiot (aka me) set it to testers only, which is why it wasn't showing up. So sorry about that!
