Hello everybody! I wanted to show you 6 years of hard-work, I mean my RPG-game called Skydancer. The game is out now!

Skydancer differs from the usual stereotypes of the classic JRPG. No crystals No evocations, No Magic. SkyD is Set in a hypothetical post-atomic Japan in the year 2104 in a dystopian future where anarchy reigns. The island is full of destroyed villages (do you like fist of the north star\Hokuto no ken? Well Skydancer is the perfect game for you) with just one civilized metropolis called:Neo Tokyo ruled by a self-proclaimed emperor: Seijuro Godha, who easily obtained the consent of its inhabitants with a promise to restore the island to its original pre-war splendor through a precisely very ambitious reconstruction project called: Heaven Prime.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq6A3llDsX0&t=15s <--- this is the gameplay video

You will play as a Tatsuke Sanji, some kind of future samurai stereotype equipped with a futuristic version of a lightsaber and a mecha arm, along with Shin Tanaka, a fearsome master of a deadly martial art that involves the use of Ki's energy to hit his opponents: the "Denryoku jutsu". Their stories, initially unconnected will intertwine giving rise to what is the main plot of Skydancer.

The battle system provides many features such as the innovative use of the directional keys in combat, to create more powerful combos to hit more times the selected enemy and causing more damage in a single turn; a level up system "chessboard like" (very similar to one seen in final fantasy x) a completely custom menu and many other features minutely described in the tutorial of the game (protoshell system, fatality system to get more exp in battle etc ...).

Sorry for the delay. Anyway, I don't think I'll release new version of the game because I'm working hard about it's sequel called "O.N.I." and I want to release it on Summer 2021 at all costs :D

Hi, thanks for the great game.
Can someone help me? I think I skipped some important dialogue. I just beat Moritsune, the boss in the junkyard, and don't know what to do next. :(
I think you are to go to the town that is west of the desert wasteland I think the name is?. Past the town there is a mountain area.

Yeah, you got it. Thanks mate!

I beaten the game
well I picked one of the two possible scenarios at the end and will do the other one sometime soon
. I have the following:

- I was unable to find the dog in the forest.
I did beat the superboss before taking over the mansion in tokyo. Would that have anything to do with beating this boss first before finding the dog in the forest? By the way, scanning the superboss text is italian

- The "god" battle texts was all in Italian. Could you please translate it, and could you please test their vocal discussion during the battle since it's in Italian?

- There were two sections of the game where the difficulty got quite hard fast, but spending some time level grinding, they got easier. The area is the boss where
the plain crashed
and the wasteland near the hideout.

- You can grind quite fast and achieve levels
way higher than level 100 fast once you are in northern japan.

- What are all of the optional sidequests you can do during the game?

hi guys, I just uploaded a new direct link. It's from Indieexplo, you just have to press "download" .

I ran into a bug and I'm not sure if it's RPG maker 2003 or the game itself. I got an error "Access violation in module RPG_RT.exe in with address 00447539 and offset 00000010 of type Read occurred" while in battle.

This happened twice to me today in the same area (in one of the areas you need to use protokey in the forest). This part of the game may not be passable due to this bug.

Another bug: If you run into an enemy when you are in a middle of a "jump" the game will freeze.

Yes, it is a random error, and it occurs more often, if you don't set properly the wait mod at the beginning of the game.
Same here. I think it's a random thing. I got it two times during my run. Especially in the ending area

Hi guys, thanks for the messagess! I'll answer in order:

1)I will upload it again using another host in a few days (maybe tonight :P )
2)The game isn't so difficult if you level your characters well and if you learn correctly how to press the button during the battles (is HIGHLY recomended to do the starting tutorial even if you are a pro in RPGs because the combat mechanics are different from Theia ^^). Besides, I suggest you not to play the game in HARDCORE mode but to switch to the other one which shows you when you have to press the directional keys. It's very simple...the system works in this way. Once you've chosen the voice "action" you have to press one key. THe attacks linked to the UP arrow, usually consume only a few stamina points but your character will hit the enemy only 1 time and rechard 2 action points, while if you chose the LEFT arrow, your hcaracter hit 2 times in a turn with a high stamian cost and he charge 1 action points. The DOWN arrow is a special attack which bypass the Shell Gauge of the enemies, while the Right arrow recharge your stamina gauge (the level of stamina gained is referred to your stats). Well, after you have chose your action, one moment before your character attack the enemies, you need to press the Trigger Button (shift) to perform a more powerful attack (but ONLY if you have sufficient action points above your head). You can unlock these attacks spending Jutsu point in the chessboard upgrade system. It's very very very simple and if you use the regular battle mode the system will show you When and HOW to press the directional keys and the trigger button. With some training, you will succeed :)
3)The game don't support the FULLSCREEN mode if you have a modern machine. There are lots of plugin that bypass this issue, but in I always suggest you to play in window-mode because I can't guarantee that these kind of plugins work well.

Thank you for all your messages! I will upload the game again in a few hours :) thank you again!

Hi, Download Link is not working due to MediaFire being a shitty host and probably giving one of those false negatives (unless you included a song called "Legend" by Yasuharu Takanashi that Amazon wants me to buy).

Can you reupload it? (hopefully not in MF) Game screens look good. :)

Hi there! mmmh this is weird, the link worked well with the other guys. Anyway, I think that sometimes when you click on the it, it could give problems. If you can't download the game after clicking on the link a couple of times, I will upload again the game using another host for sure dude :) please let me know. Thank you! :)

I am about 7 hours into the game and have a couple of gameplay comments/questions to offer:

- It looks like that there are a few dialog here and there that doesn't affect the main storyline that is still in Italian. Are you aware, do you have plans on fixing it, do you need help in identifying the dialog?

- It seems that the enemies in the junkyard (2nd time mandatory you have to visit) and in the mountains next to the village (can't think of the name offhand) are the same. However, you will receive less exp in the junkyard around lv 25. The mountain occurs on level 30.

Hi there :°D thanks for the report! Unfortunately I already knew that a few secondary dialogs were ITA :( but I don't really know where they are ^^'. There are also the italian voice actors because I wasn't able to find english actors and that's really a bad thing but I think it's not so important ^^'. MMMmh for the enemies, I really don't know why, maybe the enemies in the Sekyo's mountain are a little bit stronger or have different special techniques, I really don't remember, but it could only be a bug. :)

Currently I'm working hard on O.N.I. which is the following chapter of Skydancer. And since it is in ITALIAN, I really need a very hand to translate it in the best way and I also need voice actors because ONI is really hard dubbed! If you wanna help me, or you know somebody who could be interested in voice acting, well let me know. Thanks for reporting that :* and I really hope you can enjoy Skydancer!

thanks a lot. :) We already talked about it :P
I suggest you to play it as soon as possible. Sky dancer is a beautiful pearl in the ocean and the explanation Uran gave before is really perfect. Not only the gameplay is one of the most crazy things ever made with rm 2k3, but also the storyline is. Italy is definitely the nation with the best RPG dev

Thank you for responding so soon and being so respectful. I think i get the context a bit better now that you explained it and I understand what you are trying to get across with your message. After I finish the Pokemon DLC and Xenoblade (and possiply Persona 4 on PC if I have the money) I'll be sure to play your game. I can't wait to try it out!

Hello @Uran. Your game's systems look quite impressive. While I am not a fan of the FFX sphere-grid level-up system, (In my mind FFXII did the balance much better) I can applaud the effort to make something unique, especially when it's free. You don't see high-quality games given out for free in this community. Most free games are an RTP fest, which may not be a bad thing, but certainly detracts from the legitimacy of your game since everyone has already heard and seen it before. However, something worries me about this game. While your description on your game-page sounds really cool, it is very concerning that you added "pedophilla" as one of your games main features for your short description.

I'm fine with mature themes in games if it's handled well and with respect for the victims involved and doesn't glorify or justify it. The game Persona 5 is a great example with it's first arc and it's excellent first major villain, one of the most hate-able, despicable characters in all of gaming that just makes you want to kick his a** into the sun 1000 times over.

However, this becomes a problem when the issue of pedophilia is normalized or even glorified. Loli hentai is an example of this degeneracy put on the forefront. While I have not played your game, I am worried at how you exactly portray the disgusting act of pedophilia in your game, if at all. Will you handle it like "Persona 5", or will you handle it like "Boko No Pico" or "A Sister is All You Need"?

With the growing rise of the M.A.P. movement (minor attracted person, or simply a pedo) on sites like Twitter and Tumblr, pedos seem to be trying to infiltrate the LGBT community, and they're winning. I'm very worried that your game may contribute to the corrupt causes of the MAPs. Also, just in case, if you actually have pedophillic thoughts, SEEK HELP WITH A PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST!

Unlike homosexuality or transgender, pedophilia is directly harmful to the innocent children these disgusting creeps target, and permanently physiologically damages the victim, unlike homosexuality or trans that more so affects the person afflicted with it, not the people they interact with. The scary thing is that the psychological condition of pedophilia and homosexuality are very similar, at least mentally.

It is an unnatural mental condition that comes into being around puberty when the mind and body are going though major sexual developments and their erotic tastes are being formed. Against popular belief, both homosexuality and pedophilia can actually be changed with therapy, though many "gay conversion therapists" do the "conversion" in a very vile, immoral, and unscientific way, leading to it's ban in most states. However, there is one MAJOR difference between the two that makes one a harmless, yet unnatural condition, and the other a disgusting mental disorder that must be suppressed or changed. Mental illnesses only exist if there is a harmful effect on the individual after all. A consensual homosexual relationship, while not providing spawn to continue the human race, (making it by definition unnatural) it is completely harmless and does hurt or victimize anyone.

Pedophilia meanwhile, if acted out, always has a victim, and the act could easily traumatize the child permanently and possibly kill them if they get pregnant and don't get an abortion. However, due to the scientific and psychological similarities between the two, many disgusting pedos are like "Hey! Gays are accepted in society but we aren't! This isn't fair! I know, let's infiltrate the LGBT community in order to normalize our disgusting behavior like the gays did from the 1970s to 2015, and if we fail we could just blame it on "teh gaez," setting back an already marginalize group literal decades in progress that they may never recover from! Genius!"

Sorry for the rant. I'm just worried that this game, if handled incorrectly. could have a major negative impact on both the LGBT community and other folks due to it possibly supporting the MAP cause. Thank you for reading.

Hi there, I'm really glad that you asked about it. First of all, thanks for the interest and the compliments. It's quite hard to answe but I'll give a try.

The offending part of the game, concerns a "villain" who, didn't accept his genre, so he decided to undergo an experimental operation, being treated with an experimental Protoshell called a charisma, through which he could have felt he was a woman, a man or whoever he wished to be. Something went wrong and thanks to this Protoshell, this dude obtained the power to manipulate people's minds by subjugating them to their own will and in this way, he managed to make a character fall in love with him (at the time of the events this character was only a child).
The theme of pedophilia, in Skydancer is NEVER treated superficially, like something grotesque that tends to shock the player. None of this. We wanted to give life to a despicable character it is true, but we wanted in his hysteria, in his wickedness, to have feelings, albeit "artificial" and therefore not real. I don't want to do any more spoilers because I would like you to play Skydancer and see for yourself. Even the theme of homosexuality is never trivial. I don't agree with you when you say it's an unnatural condition. Homosexuality still springs from a feeling (right or wrong who are we to say it?) So strong that it can break down any barrier. In the game, two villains are homosexuals even if it is never marked and the truth about their story will only be discovered in the end of the game. Skydancer is a game that revolves around two main themes. One is love (in EVERY possible form of it), the other is man's desire to replace God and take the reins of life and death in hand. We wanted to tell an atypical story, with current and "strong" themes, a story that could arouse conflicting feelings in the player (the fact that one of the protagonists is an anti-hero, cynical, liar, coward is something that has to do with this). Skydancer in Italy has been played by many people, many of whom have written to me that they have literally been moved by the events of the pedophile. How can sadness be felt for a pedophile? We would all like to see pedophiles burned, killed, skinned alive, yet we did not simply want to reserve him a "right" end, we wanted to lay bare the sadness of the awareness of having artificial, untrue feelings, of having at his service a "toy" and not a person who loved him for real. Skydancer is a sad story, there is no room for happiness and yet we have made more than one person move. :)

I hope I have answered your questions and I sincerely hope that you can play and enjoy the game in its entirety. Believe me, nothing is left to chance and we do not want to fuel conflicts or misunderstandings with the LGBT community.
Thanks a lot for the question. A warm greeting.
