The game takes place in a fairy village.
The fairies there, all girls, are born from large flowers called "birthblooms".

They are all kept in the botanic center, where they require specialized attention.

Fleur, The flower fairy, is seen by many as gifted,
and they hope for her to be next in line to care for the birthblooms.

Unfortunately, she stays at home, convinced she isn't worthy...

That is, until the day a new birthbloom decides to grow in her own little garden.

-----------

The birthblooms feed off love and affection between fairies, converted into magic.
As you play Fleur, your role is to date other fairies,
and gather the connection magic that'll allow your birthbloom to grow.

The game is a dating sim / visual novel, and the connection magic gathering is made through a minigame I call Flower Defense.

It involves protecting the central flowers from bees, skill levels granted by the other fairies, and increasing difficulty. Two difficulty levels are available, depending on your interest in the challenge.

As for the girls and the routes associated, I'm currently working on writing and drawing them.
At least two will be available to play soon.

Here it is!

The art in this game is really amazing and I already love each and every one of them fairies. I can't wait to conquer the heart of the Heart Fairy <3 Waifu confirmed.

Keep going, Zorga!
Now that the heat is going down, I'll bring it back up again =D. I'll make sure you get a proper setting with several skills to test out, and a couple days to do so.

This game looks fun. Also the fairy on the right looks like Magnolia from Bravely Second lol. That series also has fairies btw but the two ones you meet so far
are evil.
Never even heard the name of this game xD. But rest assured, my fairies
are not evil in the slightest.
This looks cool, with both a consistent aesthetic and a neat genre mashup for gameplay.

My brain is for some reason not able to handle that you are protecting the flowers from bees, but in a way that detail is so wild that it makes my brain just accept the rest of the setting, no questions asked.

I hope this gets some good buzz. It's a really neat idea.
xD I was talking about that just the other day actually. How bees were the last thing you want to keep away from flowers. I guess the fairies are a jealous bunch =D
I could also see it as, like "a flower that is pollinated normally becomes unsuited for serving as a birthbloom."

This would allow you to add in other enemy sprites later if you wanted. Hummingbirds, moths, etc.

Still, if bees are a problem, it begs the question of why the faeries don't just put the birthblooms in greenhouses. Maybe it's a custom to ensure that only especially dedicated faeries can grow a birthbloom all the way to a new fairy's birth? Or maybe the faeries just don't have glass-crafting tech? From a quick skim of the images that have been posted, I don't see any buildings with glass windows, so maybe this is the best option.
Oh no, no, birthblooms are their own specie, they're different from normal flowers.
The flowers in the minigame are normal flowers. And I chose bees for their movement pattern, and (admittedly) tendency to reach for flowers. So, it's very... "biolo-illogical", and I don't have a lore bit to justify it ='D

Flowers can make glass though, they have glass windows, sand, fire, all of that. The reason why the birthblooms are outside is more that the birthblooms choose where they grow. They can't be planted, they don't produce seeds. This is the most important part in all of this: birthbloom care is nothing like farming, and the story is about this.

(Edit : ah, and bees aren't an actual problem, they're only the minigame antagonists. Not plot-related~)
The minigame flowers are just normal flowers and you're defending them from bees just because? Weeeeird.

This feels like it needs some sort of lore reasoning behind it. Even if the minigame's fun, if there's no apparent reason in the story why anyone would want to do it, it's going to feel kind of offputting to the player.

Maybe the faeries also feed on nectar, so they're keeping the bees away from their crop?
There is a reason why they try to win minigames, but it's not related to bees. They don't actually keep bees away from flowers, out of the minigame.
But I do wonder... Maybe I'll need an explanation at some point, if I need the minigame to have depth. Or a new version of the minigame that also makes sense lore-wise. Something like one of your suggestions, but linked to an extension of the lore.
I definitely don't think it necessarily needs a lot of depth. Just a line of dialog somewhere to explain it.
I still have room for that; I need to actually come of with something now xD
This game is super cute. I hope to see more of it eventually!
There will be, the remaining characters are planned~ I'm just not working on it now, I'm busy with a webcomic.
Loving this game! It's been a good while since I've been able to find a game I like! I don't get how to fetch the bricks, though.
Now that's a significant compliment : D
Which bricks can't you get, the two ones in Falaise's route?
