Requires Windows XP, 7, 8 or 10.

Like Dandelion, I made this game years ago and never did anything with it.
I made Dead Again in 1 month, working 12 hours a day, every day, NON-STOP.

It's a short game, BUT there is a multitude of endings. There are 2 main ones, but 1 true ending. Try to find them all, I hope you like it!

33rd day. The streets are still crowded with them... and I have about two days worth of rations. Everyone has left. I saw some amaranth right in the middle of the street, growing peacefully. Plants are starting to mask this city. I have about two days worth of rations... and I don't think I'll last that long.

Hi! Just to inform you that the game runs great on the Miyoo Mini Plus. Someone posted here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MiyooMini/comments/18xprdx/dead_again_easyrpg_game_recommendation/

a guide how to install it and it works. Really enjoying it! Thank you for your time and work.

This game has stuck with me since I played it back when it released, but it was a blast to more confidently explore it and play again this year! One of the coolest RPG Maker games with a really fun and interesting game loop.

Hope that project further up in the comments is still in development. :)

Thank you for the kind words! I look forward to watching your live stream of my game!
Also yes, that secret project is slowly but surely still being made with all my heart ^_^

Yo, this was one of the better rpgmaker2003 games I played over the last 10 years.
Dandelion was good too.

Let us know if you're working on something else.
!!
Thank you! I've been working on something on and off for rm2k3 for the last 10 years actually. Not progressing as fast lately, but still. It's more ambitious so it may take a while to complete. Perhaps a demo someday, idk.

looking forward to this

Nice, I'll wait for a sale, then. Good to know, it's most likely just the software on the vita that has trouble rendering. Thanks!
Mhmm, the zombie-horde is fine on my pc, but I do remember it getting choppy on my old pc of back then. And yeah, it is pretty much an unmodified rm2k3, the Steam version.
Yeah, there's an RPG Maker 2000/2003 homebrew "Reader", that's how I found your game. I'm inspired to make something myself, just not sure if I should start with RPG Maker or just go straight to HTML5. Did you use any special tricks/scripts, or is it Vanilla?

I do get a huge framerate drop after the zombie horde on the Vita, so I can barely move, I don't know if it'd happen on a PC. I tried hiding in the phone booth and I imagined that maybe they would rip the phone booth off and carry me off somewhere!

Thanks for the walkthrough, I'll try that.

How do I get to see the subway area? I think I just got one ending. I'm playing it on a PS Vita so there's no "F5" equivalent.

The fact that you're playing this on a vita blows my mind... That's amazing lol

So yeah.. that subway if hard to discover.. and it used to be even more difficult to find it before hahah... Here's how :

Sewers:
After attracting a horde of zombies, go hide in the convenience store (in the back store.)

Goofy ending :
Find all 3 beacons that shows up only at night. There is 1 beacon per night, every first 3 nights.

Wow, c'est ben cool! I played it only a bit, and I like it so far. The art is fresh, I like that it isn't the chibi type stuff. Et les vieux chars de métro.

Il fait beau dans le métro, indeed! Hahaha, I'm happy someone finally noticed it! Thank you :)

Man! I would like to say you that your game is great! I enjoyed it alot, i found it ver interesintg the way you implemented the engines and the way you design the mechacnis. I really enjoyed it! Even when i'm not a fan of zombie games hehe. Great job!

Thank you! I'm always happy when someone enjoy what I cook-- Your kind words are the highlight of my day :D

Wow! this is one of those games that needed to be released sooner. Congratulations for finishing it during that short span of time, it must have been stressful. The graphics and the music are really good, and I actually got nervous while I explored the abandoned buildings. The battle system was amazing! I don't think I've seen something like that before.

I'm sure I'm missing an ending though:

-I got the endings where Joel died because of the nuclear bomb.
-I managed to escape the street with the bike and then with the truck.
-I managed to escape with the entire group.
-I got the dog ending.
-And the secret one where I appeared in that orange outerworld.

If I'm missing an ending a hint would be appreciated!

Cool game overall! The only thing I missed was something to keep track of which endings I had unlocked.

Thank you very much! Nah, you've pretty much seen everything major lol

And yes, I would've wanted to make a better main menu keeping track of your endings when I transitioned my game to the official 2k3 rerelease...
but like you said, working on that game was stressful indeed and I didn't wanted to work on that game anymore haha....

Though I want to point out that I didn't compose the music. It's from diverse games, but I did edit some of them in slight ways.

Really happy you enjoyed! And played around Halloween too, cheers :D
