I'm still working hard to get get 1.2 ready for release, this Saturday.
To showcase some of the things I've been working on, I published two devlogs over at itch.io, last weekend.
This one is more abstract and tries to outline general questions of design philosophy, but also shows a few examples of the remade areas and characters coming in 1.2.
The other one is more succinct, serving as a preview of the upcoming build.
Needless to say, I'm incredibly excited to share the new build with everyone. Not only will it include around twice as much content as the one before, but also severely improve almost every aspect of the game.
Speaking of the term "game": I am aware that one of Trachi's Achilles' heels' is surely to be found in its lack of interactivity. It has always been a sore point for me, but I never got around to focus on it.
Lately, I had in-depth discussion with some of the testers, and conceptualised with them a few options to improve on that aspect.
As it stands, I'm planning to implement several systems which hopefully provide players with the ability to experience Trachi in their own and unique way.
If possible, I'll try to showcase some those things in the weeks after the release of 1.2.
In any case, thank you, once again, for your attention.
I hope you'll have a great week and are as excited as I am for the next chapter of Trachi.
