Introduction :
Helen action shooter is an action and shooting game taking place in a fantasy universe.
The game was made with RPG Tsukuru 2003 and the first playable demo dates from 2016. The development of the game is currently interrupted even if it remains elements that have never been published.
The game features characters mainly from rtp.

Comands :
Hold the Z Button: Pull. When the key is held, the direction is "frozen".
X key: Pause / Exit

System :
Enemies sometimes drop P-UPs or hearts. P-UPs earn a level, which is lost when you are hit.
You can go up to level 5 power. Each level improves the speed of fire and the damage inflicted. The last power level turns the arrows into lightning that crosses enemies.

I got killed at Level 2. Seems like the strafing mode sometimes fades away without me releasing the button. You had some thoughts about auto aiming?

Game Over means you have to start all over? It would be better if you could retry playing from the level in which you lost or save after each stage.

EDIT: Ok, I somehow made it to the dragons (Level 6 or so) but I can't progress any further here because I can't strafe reliably. Sometimes the mode disappears when I collect hearts or get hit. Then I have to realign myself and that's enough for me to get killed.

You should mark spawn points so I can know where I have to keep my distance because new enemies will show up. For example, I made it using colored areas on the floor.

Anyway, what you did is impressive. I would really like to continue playing this.

I'm sorry but right now I'm making action platformer project still on RM2k3.
I might continue and finish to make this game one day... or not.

Thank you for your interest in this long-canceled project. Not long ago I made a little platformer on RM2k3 for Halloween (Same engine as I showed just before). The itch.io project page with download Link : The Jack-O-lantern project

The feedback on the game is good but I had to deal with bugs ... annoying.

So I will finally resume this shooter project but the end result will be a little different. I am going to modify the current progression system by a system of experience and purchase per gold coin.

I will also integrate other RM characters with different gameplay.
