:STORY:

Amorita Town, a sleepy location filled with peaceful residents and gloomy scenery.

You are Carlos Ramirez, a seasoned Detective who has experience in many different kinds of cases and investigations. On a fated day, you come face to face with a case you have never witnessed before. A very mysterious and tragic murder of a family that lived in the outskirts of the town. Something about it is not right, it makes you feel extremely uneasy, and almost, unsure.

As your mission deepens, the mystery appears to be shrouded in an evil like never before. What awaits you will tear you down and shake you to your core, an ancient darkness arises from the shadows. Enter the Shadow Seeker.

:FEATURES:

Immersive Combat

Real-Time combat is done with both melee and ranged weapons. You also have a Stamina Meter when Sprinting so use it with caution!

When using your Guns, you have chances to deal Critical Damage, thus dealing additional damage to your
enemies! There are certain Upgrades that will increase the likelihood! A great way to save and conserve your ammo!

What would a Horror Action game be without those glorious headshots?
Lesser enemies can be killed with a headshot using a Pistol, but stronger enemies may need a heavier weapon like the Shotgun!

Go all in or the more Stealthy approach, there are many different builds to try out in the game. The choice is yours!

With the use of Traps, comes a whole new play style to the game. Use the Snare Trap to snare your enemy, use
them for quick escapes, or to finish them off from a distance!

Try to be creative with your trap placements. Explosive and snare traps can pair
so well together! It is ideal to set up traps before taking on groups of enemies to manage your positioning more efficiently!

:Safe Rooms:

Visit Safe Rooms to Save your game and upgrade various skills! These are the only rooms that are not considered hazardous, and can include items to help the player stock up before heading back out.

:Upgrading:

Access your Upgrades in Safe Rooms to spend your Spirit Points to earn new skills! You can only select one skill per Rank, so make your decisions wisely!

:EXPLORATION:

There will be many secrets and hidden areas in the game that are up to the player to find and discover. You will be heavily rewarded with either valuable loot or Spirit Points! Keep your eyes open!

:MISC and other Planned Features:

- There will be plenty of engaging and thrilling Boss Fights!

Latest Blog

Chapter 3 is officially finished!

Well, took long enough I feel, but the full third chapter of the game is now officially completed! It took a lot of work and detail to really make the sewers shine(if that's even possible).

So what's left now you ask? Well the game is still planned to have a total of 5 chapters, so just two more would be left to develop! These last two chapters have been something I've been wanting to work on since starting development on this game, so I can't wait to get started on that. Stay updated, because there will be more to come!

Enjoy some screenies for now :)

What do my beautiful eyes see there?
Graphics from my game "Alone - Eternal Nightmare & Alone - Cold Winter.
What's that supposed to mean?
Didn't you have the balls to ask me if you can use it in your game?"
And no credits entry? What the crap?
This is so honorless!

Which graphics belong to you? I have no problem removing or crediting you at all, I just want to know which ones specifically. And if anything is a problem, I apologize for it.

I'm sorry but are you serious now?
My name was partly on the graphics.
I am realy mad! It doesn't cost anything to ask!
Not only did you not mention me but also Mirai Online and other directors from whom you have the graphics, e.g. Theodore!
I politely ask you to change that!
Thanks!

I looked at a few screencaps of the aforementioned Alone - Eternal Nightmare and Alone - Cold Winter. Perhaps the brief look that I did take isn't sufficient in this case, but, I'm not sure what graphics they could have taken from those games. Could you please specify?

Play it then you will see it. He not only got things from me, but from other people too.
I will make changes with the things that bother you, like I said, it's not a problem. But as for the Theo stuff, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only other person using them, they're distributed online and as far as I know, it's only a problem if you're going commerical which I'm not at all.

Credits haven't even been worked out yet, I save it all until the end, which is why you never saw anything credited (yet!) I downloaded packs that came with a bunch of assortments and stuff from Theo, so whatever isn't good to use I guess, would be nice to know ahead of time.

I'm sorry, I'm looking for your name in that image but can't find it.

Also, I think it's kinda mean of you to automatically assume the worst intentions, instead of just saying "hi, I'm the person who made these door and vent character sets. If you want to keep using them, then please add me to your credits."

I mean, you do realize that many of these RPG Maker graphics get bundled together by third parties, sometimes in ways that make it effectively impossible to track down the original author, right? If anything, you should be mad at the person who created the pack, not at KoopaKush.
Hey, sorry to say but someone has stolen your game / assets and put it for sale on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1985700/Spiritus/

Hello,

They have replied with a copyright certificate (?): https://steamcommunity.com/app/1985700/discussions/0/5154944131322379296/

They also said something about royalties that have been arranged. Have they contacted you yet?

I really hope you can resolve this as it feels very unfair to you to say the least.
Just finished talking with the person that was responsible for all of this, they agreed to take it down off their website and steam. It is now resolved thankfully.

I really hate these Steam asset-flipping scammers that steal people's work and try to pass it as their own to profit off of other people's work. I'm glad you managed to get them to take it down.

I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue, I was absolutely livid when I found out about this and I can't understand how shameless some people can be.

I have just finished reading your blog and I was REAL MAD hearing about what happened. Seriously, it's really despicable to use someone else's work... Some people have literally no shame. I am glad they had at least the conscience to agree to put it down. It was the least they could do.
Hi! :) I've almost played through the basement of Chapter 1 so far, and I'm loving the atmosphere, mystery and the Resident Evil references/homages! ^_^ Combat could be tighter, and I'd love to be able to play with a controller! Other than that, really nice work so far! :)

I have a question:
Once you release new updates, can we continue playing with saves from previous builds? Or do we need to start over?

Thank you! I'm glad you've been enjoying the game, a lot of time spent developing it certainly goes to the mapping and atmosphere :) yes, every now and then I'm thinking of ways to smoothen up the combat, so hopefully it ends up shaping even better in the final product!

If you downloaded the most recent version of the demo that is offered at the moment, then you shouldn't have to start over again, but you might have to if you have an even older version of the game :)

This looks awesome! I've been trying to figure out how to give my character a gun outside of the battle menu and make it usable on the main map, how did you code this?
question what month will shadow seeker release in 2024?

Thank you very much! Hm, well I can't really explain everything through text as it's hard to do, but making use of key input commands and variables, using the X and Y coordinates for your Hero and events. You can always look at the coding in the engine if you'd like, but hopefully you'd be able to make sense of it XD

I'm really aiming for October or November of next year!
