The map itself looks great, and I LOVE that you can see the rain outside. The light effects could stand to be a little more subtle, though! I'd honestly recommend dropping the opacity by like, a ton.

Edit: Also, if this is the new version of rpg maker 2003, i recommend making them below the player instead of above, or maybe have a seperate above layer and below layer.

thank you! Yeah, still playing around with the lighting, it does stand out a bit, trying to get it to blend and meld in more with the surroundings. Yeah the rain and thunder effects are all done with pictures. You can see an example of it in my Media or latest Blog

Edit: Reuploaded a more smoother blend of the lighting this time. Hopefully this looks a bit better

Looks better! The one near the door at the bottom is still a bit too strong I think, and all of them could use a bit more toning down (the light effects in the other images seem to be a good amount of subtle but still visible, though maybe it's that this tileset has more color that makes the light stand out)
