Its time for an update for the eventual v2.0. This version will be expanding on the current build by changing a lot of things. Namely the UI design and cleaning up a lot of the rougher parts. In addition, a new story branching completely from the normal route will be added in order to give more mysteries and some answers to the current situation. But first, a promo image for what's to come.
This update will feature a lot of changes to the basic structure of the game's Arcade like system due to the fact that I was limited in creating it for a gamejam. Now it will be more akin to a node based system where each part will be split to nodes. You will need to unlock the nodes by fulfilling certain conditions (such as losing or winning certain conditions in a certain way). Some are obvious and some are hinted at through conditions that will be shown how to unlock that node.
UI Changes will feature a lot of basic cleaning to how it looks but the general combat stays the same for the most part.
I am also cleaning up and changing the current form of the monster in 1.0 in order to retroactively change the form of the monsters.
There are other forms that will be shown in another node, another possibility.
Other nodes will take you the path of redemptive resurrection, or massacre (which boils down to a boss rush of sorts). With multiple alternative endings and over 200+ CGs to be made as this is a turn based RPG visual novel hybrid.
