In the next Part 2 update on the date of 12/10/2021, the game will no longer be called Final Fantasy VII Regenesis! The game will be changed to Final Fantasy VII Jenova Crisis.
Several parts of the story have been changed and we are already working on the translation of the game that is scheduled for 12/10/2021.

Final Fantasy VII Jenova Crisis is a non-profit game created by fans currently in development. This is a sequel to Final Fantasy VII (Advent Children and Dirge Of Cerberus). The main story takes place seven years after the events of Dirge of Cerberus.
Players who are interested in the game can share and make videos with the gameplay.

Directional Buttons: Move the character and Menu Cursor.
X Button: Access the Item/Magic/Equip/Status Menu.
- To return, just press the X again.
Enter Button: Choose Menu options, talk to NPC's and open an item box.
Shift Button: Access the Materia Menu / PHS / Save.
The PHS option will only have access from part 2 that is still sense developed.
F5 button: Video and Audio setup.
Character Arrow: Press the + button to turn Character Arrow on or off.

In each battle you earn AP points once or twice a turn each time you use the Magic command.
When you evolve a materia, a second green star will appear indicating that your matter has evolved to Level 2.
Team and equip it again to release the Magic Level 2 for your characters who are equipped with Materia.

Limit Break system was changed:
The Limit Break System is now based on the original game where each damage the character receives, the Limit bar will fill until it is complete and the character reaches the status "Limit" , releasing the Limit command for the character to use.

Seven years after the events of Final Fantasy VII - Dirge Of Cerberus, Jenova sets in motion events that will again bring Cloud and all his friends and former enemies into the great battle that will decide the planet's final destiny.

Cloud, a confident Swordsman who believed he was a member of Shinra's Soldier 1st Class, still suffers from his nightmares since his last fight against Sephiroth at Advent Children.
Seven years after Dirge of Cerberus, Cloud meets with Vincent and Yuffie to discover some strange events in the vicinity of Midgar.
Soon the group discovers that Shinra is under a new government that is reactivating the Company's services.
During the investigations, a strange man in black cape wanders through the regions of Junon in search of a mysterious artifact that is under the protection of Shinra.
But what Shinra and the Cloud group did not know was that this man is nothing more and nothing less than a 1st class Soldier who had been missing for more than Ten years.
Now, the future depends on Cloud and his friends to protect this mysterious artifact that can put the fate of the planet at risk.

The gameplay of Final Fantasy VII is mainly divided into three main areas:
Game world map, field maps and battle screens.
The world map is a scaled representation of the fictional game world through which the player can travel between different existing locations. As in previous Final Fantasy games, the crossing can be done on foot, riding chocobos (recurring galiform birds in the series), flying an aircraft or by sea through a boat.

The player begins initially with a dialogue between Rufus Shinra
(former president of Shinra Electric Power Company.)
and a stranger dressed in black looking for a lost fragment.
Soon after, the game begins by showing the past, the final happenings of Final Fantasy VII, showing since the death of Zack (former first class soldier Shinra and Cloud's best friend), the attack on Reactor Mako 1 in Midgar and all Final Fantasy VII story world from PS1 until the arrival of Meteorfall.
After showing the full story of Final Fantasy VII, the player will be restricted to Versovia (Midgar Refugee City) only, but all will become available as they progress through the game's history. Progression in central plotting occurs mainly through scripted sequences, although scenes are present at various points in the story.

Battles in Final Fantasy VII can occur randomly or triggered by a specific event, pitting the group of players against one or more enemies. Win a battle by winning all opponents reward experience, items, and Gil (the currency of the game). However, if all party members are shot down or left unable to continue the fight, the game is over and the player must restart from their last defense.

Cloud Strife: He was born in the small town of Nibelheim, when he was a little boy he dreamed of joining SOLDIER (SHINRA's elite army) and working alongside Sephiroth. After some incidents, he became a mercenary who was hired by the group "AVALANCHE", a Shinra resistance force. In the course of FFVII (the game), he becomes much more engaged in the struggle for survival of the planet proposed by the group. During the game, he tries to rebuild his past and find out more about himself. After the events of Dirge Of cerberus, Cloud now lives in a small town called kalm, along with Tifa.

Barret Wallace: He was leader of the "AVALANCHE" group. He has a gun in place of his right arm, lost when he tried to prevent his best friend Dyne from falling off a cliff. He never hid that the future of his adopted daughter, Marlene, was (and still is) one of the main reasons to save the planet. She lived in Corel Norte until her wife Myrna and all the inhabitants were murdered by Shinra. Barret continues to live in Corel.

Tifa Lockhart: Cloud's childhood friend and also the only person who knows her entire past. She fought martial arts and was also a member of the group "AVALANCHE". Currently, Tifa works in the 7th Heaven reopened in kalm, after the entire city of Midgar was declared uninhabitable for 500 years after large explosions hit the Mako Reactors. Tifa has a certain crush on the Cloud, and despite the traumatic events she has been through (such as the death of her father, murdered by Sephiroth), she is still independent and optimistic.

Red XIII: Your True Name is Nanaki. He was the object of Shinra's research, but managed to escape with the help of Cloud and his friends. He was born in Cosmo Canon.

Cait Sith: Teddy cat who was on top of a giant Moogle. He later turned out to be Shinra's head of public relations, Reeve. His concern for the people of Midgar made him redeem and he became a lover. After the Advent Children events, instead of walking on a giant Moogle, he walked on top of Red XIII.
Cait Sith still continues to ride on his giant Moogle while Reeve takes care of the WRO services.

Cid Highwind: Cloud buddy and his friends, he feels a huge passion for the sky. He is an excellent pilot of aircraft and uses a giant spear as a weapon. He was a Shinra pilot, but was angry to learn that Rufus was not going to pay for another attempt to launch a rocket that had been attempted to launch before. Now he has married Shera and continues to live in Rocket City.

Yuffie Kisaragi: A ninja who wears a giant shuriken. She is fascinated by materials and has her priority in them. She also gets nauseous when travelling. She is also a thief; in the game she pretends to be interested in the goal of the Cloud group to steal their materias, and seems not to like it.
One of the first characters to appear in the game.

Vincent Valentine: Sniper and former member of the Turks. He was used as a guinea pig in a Shinra experiment and gained the power to turn into monsters and not grow old. Since the events at the end of the game, he has wandered the world gathering information and seems to be aware of the events. He is still looking for Lucrecia, Sephiroth's mother, whom he is in love with.

Hey! Nice game so far I like it. Combat is not too hard and I like the idea of a sequel even if the game has a couple of big problems (some missing files that make the game crash when entering some houses in Kalm, Vincent loses items after limit break, and Cloud does not use some materia equipped) and some minor issues (some typos, Cloud sometimes stops in front of the enemy). It's also a pity that some charsets are so different (Yuffie bigger than Cloud and Vincent that are taller than Zack and secondary characters). I'd have used the typical Rmk2003 smaller charsets (as already have every FfVII character done).
On the contrary monsters and battlers choice is eccellent. Mapping is ok, music is good.

Anyway I am having fun playing this so far, it's an enjoyable game and plays exactly as a FfVII game.

TheRpgmakerAddict! Thank you for your review! Can you tell me if it is only in kalm that this error occurs?
Vincent's loss of Items is due to the Class change that occurs when he is executed to break his Limit.
Are the materials that the Cloud does not use is Magic or Equipment?
About the Cloud stop in front of the enemy, this I will try to figure out the cause.
Typing errors must be from the translator I use. This game was in Portuguese, so I had to translate.
Already the characters I will try to standardize all in a single type for the next update.
Try to take a Screenshot of the error that occurs in kalm and if possible send me through Discord.

So far it happens only there, but I've to reach New Midgard so we will see...
The game crashes when entering one of those houses, error is missing file "FF7-Matéria-Setafile"

Materia, only uses Cure and Ice even if I also equipped Fire and Lightning.

Well I remember Weiis (Weiss I think is correct),ative (active), and a couple others but I do not know where.

That would look a lot better, I think. Just see Yuffie comparison to the nerby soldier. ;)

Good point! Thank you very much!
This problem with the Kalm stores I already fixed and updated the Download Link.
The RPG Maker 2003 has a problem that can not put accents in the renaming of the Sprites, so this error occurs in all the Sprites with accents and I had forgotten it.
I'll check this Cloud, Fire and Bolt Matter error.
Tell me where you found these Chars that I will download now. Thanks.

Nothing is Impossible! There are some tips, if you think a little you can! One is on top of the bedroom bed and one on top of the closet facing the staircase in the bar where Yuffie was.

7 - 2 - 8 "A right number in the right place."
8 - 4 - 7 "Two corret numbers in the wrong place."
6 - 8 - 9 "A right number in the right place."
2 - 0 - 1 "A right number in the wrong place."

This is from the store where you find Yuffie.
6 - 3 - 5 "A right number in the right place."
9 - 3 - 1 "Two correct numbers in the wrong place."
2 - 9 - 8 "A right number in the right place."
0 - 7 - 3 "A right number in the wrong place."
Hey! I played through this game on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTeX-wvEFhw&list=PLw8fVE94NZ5rl8DW3337P5M1UQ8nX7s1z

Feel free to use the videos however you feel! I pointed out some bugs while playing and I tried to be as thorough as possible. :)

While I've never played Dirge of Cerebus, the scene with Zack taken from Crisis Core was not lost on me. I don't think the scene is as powerful in this game as it was in Crisis Core. I accept that the game summarizes the events that lead up to it, even if the way it's summarized is a bit hard to follow. This game isn't about relaying that part of the story of FF7, nor the story of FF7 proper.

Like TheRpgmakerAddict mentioned in his review, there were a few tracks I could not rightly identify. The tracks entitled "The Promised Land", "Beyond The Wasteland", and "For the Reunion", specifically. My current assumption is that they are from Dirge of Cerebus, but, I would suggest putting somewhere (other than the end-game-credits) where this stuff comes from. Though, maybe that's just me talking, as this is a pretty big pet peeve of mine!

All that was used in the project will be given the appropriate credits to the authors when the entire project is completed.
Does anyone know how to get through this door, please?

Does anyone know how to get through this door, please?

Since someone may have the same problem (I had!)...

You have to take the uniforms from one of the lockers inside the room behind. Then you can proceed.
The problem is that the locker first give some materia only, BUT you have to interact again to get the uniforms too.
I'm stuck only a short bit after the last posters above this. I got the uniform, and was able to get through the parade and explore the Junon base but I'm told to go to "the conference room on the 2nd floor to meet with Heidegger". I found what seems to be a candidate for the right room, a large room with a bunch of chairs facing a stage and podium, but there's no one but two guards there. No Heidegger. There's also a door at the rear of the room behind the stage but it is impassable. Can anyone help?

Instead of you going down in the big room with a bunch of chairs in front of a stage and podium, you go up to the top of Junon's, the main entrance is in the middle, where you get off the elevator to the main aisle is where you give access to this place
It is sad that it has to take fan game developer to finish the final part of the original storyline considering SE abandoned the whole thing after Dirge of Cerberus.

Of course this isn't anything new with SE considering they abandon a lot of their projects.

Even if it is fan theorycrafting it is better than nothing.
it sem be a great game but where genesis characther game from im only done ff7 so some expect with vincent story im lost too ps i dont do all side quest just ff7 main game
Any updates? Can't wait to continue this!
Hi there,
