Very interesting.
But short game? Please, i gonna love a long game ^^
Saw this on twitter! Looks super cosy and pretty; looking forward to it!
I wonder if the name of this game is related to açaí, a brazilian fruit that is also purple!

Hey,
This looks nice! But beware of overusing surreal, poetic, weird or dreamy might be enough sometimes.
Oh, so it really is açaí.
But typical brazilian folk would be offended by things like "açaí lemonade". XD
Cute game. I've played a bit, gonna give it some more love later.

Haha, yeah, I didn't want to bother with all the special characters, I hope that the Brazilian folks can forgive me. Thank you for trying out the game, lemme know what you think of the full thing!
So I played it further, and I think I got the game a bit better. So you basically need to escape a large maze-y timed dungeon, and the longer you take, the harder battles get. It's an interesting concept. I died a couple of times, and I'm not sure how far along I was.
I just started playing this earlier today (I meant to get around to playing it before, but life’s been catching up with me!) Anyway, obviously, the pixel graphics and sprites are beautiful; I love the pink and purple palette you’ve used and overall trippy aesthetic of some of the backgrounds. The gameplay took a bit of getting used to, with memorising the layout of the sewers. But I overall found the whole concept really interesting! It took a few game overs to get an ending
(I got the one where you don’t pick up the guitar, enemies don’t spawn and you get a doppelgänger of sorts?)
But I’ve almost managed to complete the game normally, it gets quite difficult with the enemies getting quicker and having more health, and the time limit (again, memorising and speed run strats).

I was just wondering if there is a way to save in this game, considering the Snore option on the title screen? I thought it was probably left out intentionally, since when you know what you’re doing the game is fairly quick to play through (or I’m too dumb to find it). The gameplay style really reminds me of Ghost Suburb, by any chance did you have any inspiration from that? And the
four areas where you obtain the card keys
gave me some Yume Nikki vibes.

It’s nice to see another game from you! After playing Momoka, I was interested to see more surreal horror and cutesy stuff.

I'm glad you're enjoying the aesthetic of the game! There is no save option, there just isn't a way to remove the load option in RPG Maker 2003 (without hacking, but I didn't want to do that) so I just renamed it to 'Snore'.

I'm glad that you noticed the Ghost Suburb 0 influences! You are correct, I was heavily inspired by the gameplay of Ghost Suburb 0, I am such a big fan of that game. I was inspired by Yume Nikki as well, but to come up with the different worlds, my friend directed me to a random Homestuck planet generator haha.

Thank you, I hope you look foward to my future projects!
