The world of One Night 2: The Beyond is a dangerous one and it is very easy to end up trapped by some faceless horror or stumped on a rock hard puzzle. Using these tips however, you may just be able to survive a bit longer:

Read Clues Carefully
The numerous files you can find scattered around the mansion contain valuable hints and storyline information. They may tell you the password you need or direct you to your next location. Read them slowly and note anything that seems important.

*If you play as Sara, you will have all important clues highlighted for you.

Remember Save Rooms
You should remember the locations of save rooms and how to get to them. In a later situation, you may find yourself needing to save or simply requiring a quiet room to solve a riddle in peace. You can also heal in save rooms, so there's yet another reason.

Don't Run Aimlessly
The enemies in One Night 2 like to gang up on their prey and attack you when you're in a vulnerable situation. They love nothing more than to guide you to a dead end or into a corner. Furthermore, they love to attack you from behind or blind side you. Try to think before you move while running from them and don't end up trapped or exposed.

Know Your Attacks
In One Night 2, the direction from which you are attacking the enemy affects your damage. Not only will attacking when not facing the enemy do little damage, but you'll be hurt a lot more as well. Know when to use the Brace Yourself command and also remember that the damage from a Hard Strike is always the same regardless of direction.

Conserve Supplies
Having an ample supply of first aid kits and bottles of absinthe is a great way to ensure that you don't find yourself hopelessly outmatched in combat. Don't waste these precious items! If you don't mind backtracking a little bit, recovering at a near by save room is an alternative to using these. Save them for the battles!

* If you play as Faraday, you'll have a higher life and strength capacity.
