Jacob takes the decision to leave the house at midnight after a fight he had with his parents. It wasn't the first time he had a fight with his parents about his sister! Curiosity leads him to a dangerous path. He finds an envelope that needs to be delivered to a strange place never heard before. Along the road, our main character will be accompanied by a new friend, Mark, who is also a 10-year-old boy that got an envelope to be delivered to the same address as our main character has to go! Will they complete the delivery? Will they return home? Send!

The game contains jumpscares/ small jumpscares, violence, death, blood and other horror details. Proceed with caution!

I am glad to see this rpg here on rmn too! I already played the demo from itch.io and I really enjoyed it! The story is interesting, the maps are beautiful and well structured and also the characters' graphics are nice. I can't wait to play the completed game! Good luck with the development!

It’s a quick time event. You have to rapidly press the Z key to avoid dying. (It helps if you press space/enter key at the same time as Z, as they’re both default inputs.)

The event is programmed to click 20 times Z buttons in less than 5 seconds!

Where I got stuck:
Right after finding the key in the water, did not manage to open anything with it.


Feedback:
-The BGM (or BGS) in the city is kinda weird, I get what you were trying to do but the first impression I got was a band of fish singing or something.
-I would personally mark interactable objects (exemple: https://i.imgur.com/fgSTyUT.png). I personally use Some Popup v 2.8 by mikb89.
-If possible, I would add a blur effect to the quick event (when Z is pressed) picture to raise tension.
-It might be good to indicate that you can press F5 to put the game in fullscreen mode.
-The mapping could use some improvement, like every house having the same exact fence.
-I would personaally create an event-based dynamic shader system to enhance the experience but that might be outside of your capabilities.

I agree the full game could use some more polish, with typos/some writing, gameplay details and such (you bring up some good ideas/suggestions, and it’s good to provide feedback.) Saying this, the developer has made a decent first demo (including some nice graphics, a story hook and some bug fixes). I believe this is a prequel to an upcoming game, so I look forward to the end result.

I can’t say I agree with you on the music choice. I think it suits the eerie night-time atmosphere fine (it’s also used in other RPG maker games). But the developer does want a composer for their project (I hope you find one and can get some good music!)

With the key, did you try using it from the inventory on all the doors? There are also gameplay videos on YouTube.
