Hi, everyone! It took quite some time due to my uni duties and the game requiring translation into another language, but the work is still going and now I'm happy to present Hiraeth 0.2.0, building on and upgrading the first day you spend in the Dragon Haven.

Still kicking and working, however hard it may be between uni and other ventures.
Added a new feature, one I planned since the beginning - a collection of 30 dolls for the player to find. Each connects to a character profile of a Dragon Haven resident, able to tell something more about them.



Also, I planned to release a new demo with all the new features this year, but a schedule slip is quite possible.

Good weekends to all!
Slowly, but steadily working on Hiraeth. Decided to perfect the graphics, so to speak: updated the title screen, added and reworked several character talk-sprites. Easier on eyes, more pleasing to the soul.

Hi, everyone. I'm still alive and kicking, as well as developing Hiraeth. By now three out of five playable days are, well, fully playable, and there's also a couple of minor improvements, such as talksprites appearing right before doing a quest. Here are some screenshots of a tense episode, also demonstrating the use of the flashlight.

I've been kinda busy, however, with the summer here, I decided to make a review of major features implemented into the game so far.
- The soundtrack is complete, I once again thank my friend Transhpend for providing it.
- Flashlight implemented to navigate in dark spaces.
- The plot of the game is enlarged - originally, there were only three days in the game, however, now there are two more being worked on. As of now, three out of five in-game days are complete and the fourth is half-complete.
- Talk-sprites are included for quest-giving characters. They aren't completely implemented into the game yet, but the mock-up of its use can be seen in the gallery.

I also remind you that there's a beta-version available for download.

It's been quite a while, but I assure you that Hiraeth is currently in active development. At the moment the major work regarding the soundtrack of the game is finished. Also, there's a new mechanic that's been successfully implemented - a flashlight to light dark and the darkest rooms.

DEMO Available

Hello there! I've spent quite some time working on my Hiraeth in relative anonymity. However, it comes to fruit now, as I can show you the first public beta-version of the game. There may be some minor errors that I'd be happy to be notified about, and some parts that need polishing, but you should still be able to enjoy the game and take in that atmosphere.
