Your name is They, and your grandpa wants you to get married.
In fact, he's already picked somebody out for you.

The thing is, you never asked for this. You never wanted to get married, let alone be trapped in an arranged marriage.
So you do the thing you know best: you run away.

Will you ever escape from your grandfather's controlling demands?

This game takes place during a chapter of time in the Gene universe known as the Grand Dream.
It is largely unnecessary to understand the lore, aside from what is explained in-game, though those familiar with sbarg may have an extra bit of insight into certain events that may appear absurd at face value.

As mentioned before, this game is a fangame tribute to Frogge's Two Strangers series, having been started in development right after the second one was released and continued during the release of the actual third game, which it somehow did not become lore incompatible with (in fact, it gave more ideas than it took away!).

However, while the main games in the series lean hard on parodying tropes of romantic comedies (and other tangential movie genres), this game seeks to subvert and reject the mainstream path of such cinematic mainstays.
Actual gameplay however, is very similar in scope. If you've played the others, you know what to expect. Light puzzles in places.
This game was made for the Year Of The Hedgehog.

Approx. play time: 20-30 minutes

Yes, YES, yesyesyesyes. Ok now where is the download?? Great screens by the way ^o^
Alright so, currently there's some mp3 files that have some weird codecs that cause

cascading errors. I'm gonna fix those tonight for the sake of best practices, but for now, y'all can install the needed codecs from here: https://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_basic.htm

Considering I didn't get split in half by it, the lav splitter is prolly safe. :b
So wait, Frogge didn’t make this but a fan did instead…??? W-Wow, that’s pretty cool! You know that you’ve hit the big time if a fan of yours made a fangame in tribute to yours - excellent!

I still haven’t tried out the other Two Stranger games, but maybe I need to rectify that someday. The surreal imagery alone should be more than enough worth trying it out.

Oh believe me, I'm absolutely honored. Doubt I've hit the big time, but I couldn't ask for anything more.

Speaking of which, I should probably write a review for this. Unrated, of course, but it might be cool to hear in-depth analysis by the creator of the original series, haha.
Okay, 1.2 version is up, should fix the crashes and includes a sound test room at the beginning, as well as the credits.txt which the packager kept skipping over.

Pleeeeeease review it! It's your only chance (so far) to review a 2 Strangers game!
I don't care about the rating, I'm curious to see if my impressions were correct (yah, you will read them soon! :P)
Alright, 1.3 bugfix is up. Its mostly minor things but it does fix the full package flag thing.
Very funny game, awesome dialogues! Had a great time playing it!
