Strategy for improving stats:
Most of the monsters may drop flasks that permanently increase your stats. When you choose to battle at least level 3 monsters, the Gold dropped will be way higher than if you battle level 1 or level 2 monsters. With that increased Gold, you can buy more flasks or support accessories.

Interesting loots:
Nearly 30% of the monsters can drop scrolls. These scrolls are effective when you have to deal with multiple aggressive enemies. The scroll (no matter the element) will inflict 500 damage on each enemy. The level 1 monsters all have less than 500 HP. If you're in trouble with them ; a scroll and the field will be wiped. These scrolls cost 240 Gold in the shop.
Wasps, Assassins and Lamias may drop Crystals of Heal. These will respectively heal you by 3%, 6% and 12% each turn. If you can get two Lv 2 Crystals of Heal ; the progress will be way easier. These crystals respectively cost 600, 2,100 and 3,900 Gold.
Jellyfishes, Cockatrices, Scorpions, Mimics, Skeletons, Angels, Behemoths, Dragons and Reapers will sometimes drop Rare Coins. If you get a Rare Coin, talk to the shopkeeper! He will buy you all of your Rare Coins for 600 Gold each.

Bosses:
Giant Flea, 2,000 HP. All stats at 45. Can only use regular attacks.
War Lion, 3,500 HP. All stats at 75. Can sometimes use "Approximative attack", a stronger but less precise version of the regular attack.
Kaiser Fiend, 5,000 HP. All stats at 100. Will use Shadow I at the beginning of the battle, then Shadow II between 34 and 67% of its HP, then Shadow III and Triple Attack when its HP are lower than 33%.
Final boss, 7,500 HP. All stats at 120. Will behave almost like the Kaiser Fiend when it's about Shadow attacks. The triple attack is replaced by "Dark Lullaby".
