Version 1.6 released!

Version 1.6 released!

- Battles with the Adlet now happen on the map instead of the battle screen.

- Keeluts now start off transparent and inactive, giving you a better chance to evade them.

- The old Intro story has been revamped.

- Added a new prologue chapter that doubles as a tutorial. There's also an option to skip it.

Version 1.4 bug fix

There has been a bug in version 1.4 where the second adlet on the map would never detect the player, no matter what. This bug has since been fixed and the version 1.4 download has been updated with the fixed version.

Version 1.4 released!

- The adlet have a revamped detection system, now it should be much easier to sneak past them.

- Player character's speed massively increased, the adlet will now chase the player for a shorter distance.

- Player character can now survive 1 more hit from the adlet than before.

- Jumping cooldown has been lowered to 5 seconds.

- Some of the texts have been rewritten slightly, most importantly the Sedna story.

Version 1.2.5 and browser version released!

Version 1.2.5 released!

- You can now turn in place while holding W.

- You can now jump by pressing Q. This will allow you to jump over monsters should the player character become trapped in a narrow passage with no way out. Jump has a cooldown of 16 seconds.

Also added a browser version.

- Player character's movement speed has been increased slightly.

- Added 3 difficulty modes to the game:

Easy - Player character can survive 5 hits and has +10 EP.

Medium - Player character can survive 4 hits.

Hard - Player character's movement speed is decreased, in addition, EP is decreased by 20.

Bug fixes for Version 1.1.5

There were a few bugs in the latest version, so I updated the 1.1.5 and macOS dowloads with fixed versions.

- The player character can now survive 4 hits from the Adlet from full HP as intended.

- The player character's sprite is now offset correctly.

- Fixed a few minor typos.

Version 1.1.5 and a macOS version released!

So, I had a flash of inspiration and ended up implementing a few features that I've abandoned previously, plus a few other improvements, like the ability to skip the long prologue. The game is now certainly a lot better! This will probably be the final version, any potential subsequent versions probably won't have any major additions, so consider the game complete!

- Added a lot of new possible spawn locations for NPCs needing rescue.

- New enemy type: Keelut - When you get too close to a Keelut, the Adlet will
be alerted to the player character's location.

- Amarok will now hunt the player character, every time an NPC is saved, there's
a chance a hunt will be triggered, which increases the more NPCs are saved.

- Chance to get away from the Adlet without taking damage now starts lower, but
it's now increased by 5% for each saved NPC.

- You can now skip the prologue and start the main part of the game right away!

I also added a macOS version of the game for download.

Version 1.1 released!

- Main Character is now faster, making it easier to outrun the monsters.

- Natalia's hints are now more useful, giving you all possible spawn locations of the people you need to save.

- Maximum Endurance Points and EP regeneration inside buildings have been reduced to make the Cold Weather more of a factor.
