An easy old school RPG with a sideview battlesystem, lots of character development and a solid story.
Using the power of the RPGMaker VX Ace engine, parallax mapping, scripting and
all in eventing soup, which makes this game a true adventure.
A game to remember!

The story takes us to "Link Haven", the town where our hero grew up
and developed into a strong and helpful thief.
The arrival of 2 Obsidian Order members get the story rolling as the party needs to collect the Water Crystal from a nearby dungeon.
This is where the story and plot picks up quickly and our adventure
to save the world commences.
It will take you beautiful places and scary dungeons.
Even a world beneath the waves awaits you, or should I say: treasure awaits you.

Jake - Thief - Dual wielding knifes.
Born in Link Haven, raised to be very helpful.

Brenda - Archer - Bow or Boomerang.
On a mission from the Obsidian Order to collect the Water Crystal.

Nathalie - Mage - Staff.
Brenda's elder sister, white and black magic user.

Warren - Samurai - Katana.
A Samurai who is helping a friend to save her brother from his kidnapper.

I this game a added a lot of extra stuff, like a bard's game, trophies, statistics, battle voices, parallex mapping and a lot of eventing.
Bonus stats is a nice feature, also stat-leveling armor pieces.
And a huge amount of detail, like the buildings on the worldmap make almost a 100% image of the town.
Hard work? Yes, but couldn't leave it out.

The battle system isn't unique, it's sideview but it has a twist.
It's possible to gain Extra Attacks or an additional cast as you do battle.
Also using a skill a lot can lead to learning new skills.

Is it an easy game?
It's not a hard game and it's a game to be enjoyed.
Hope you may enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Finished. 10 hours of pure joy :)
Потрясающая игра! Красочные персонажи, юмор, сюжет! И это всё дополняется интересной системой прокачки персонажа, экипировкой и навыками! Всё просто супер, НО! На карте мира очень часто выбрасывает из игры =(

Awesome game! Colorful characters, humor, plot! And all this is complemented by an interesting character leveling system, equipment and skills! Everything is just super, BUT! On the world map, very often throws out of the game = (

Tnx to you!!!
(BTW - nice avatar)

Sorry. Google translate...
Thank you for your nice feedback. Nice to read your enjoyed the game.

I am uncertain why that happens at the worldmap :(

Спасибо за хороший отзыв. Приятно читать, игра вам понравилась.
Я не уверен, почему это происходит на карте мира :(

Since my playthrough began yesterday and I experimented a bit, I think I know how to reduce the probability of the game crashing on the world map.

According to my observations, the game tends to crash after bonus stat events on the world map when the player afterwards opens the menu (and saves the game) and then leaves the menu. That means: If you as the player get a bonus stat event after a battle, fight another battle (without subsequent bonus stat event) before you open the menu (and save the game).

Unfortunately, the game also crashes often directly after battles (more inside dungeons than outside). It seems there are script issues at work that have already plagued developers and players for years; neither are they the developer's fault, nor will he be able to fix them. Thus, save the game regularly (but not after bonus stat events) in order to not lose progress.

Thank you for your kind words.
I do understand that it takes away the flow, maybe there are to many events running parrallel to eachother.
Maybe I should try to activate them on a switch and use a common event.

I deleted 2 scripts and removed the end battle voices.
Seemed that they were conflicting with the end battle scene of the EXP.
Finished the game, did everything, and it only crashed once.
At that time I removed the "Save" option on the Worldmap.
This seemed to help alot.
No crashes anymore.
Hello Walldeaf,

You made an excellent work, and I ended at level 22+ after 11h30 of happy gaming. I'm amazed you did so much (wonderful story, scripting and graphics) in only 5 months!
Thanks you for the good time your gave me, I'm looking for your next delivery: october maybe? (give him an inch and he'll take a mile!)

Hello... game-breaking bug detected....

in the tower, after retrieving the stone key appears a rope ladder to the basement. When i go down the party freezes. Everything around moves, but the party. the games doesn't respond to any command... even F12 doesn't work...
I've noticed a game breaking bug that prevents me from playing.
It's at the tower after you do the button game. After I unlock the lair on the first floor of tower and go down the ladder there is a complete freeze. No cutscene players, I can't move, I can't even bring down the menu by taping esc.
when I use task manager and I look at processes I see nothing wrog yet the game is frozen.

same as me
@Superes and @mik555888,

On my playthrough it worked perfectly, but I'll double check it.
Thanks for the feedback.

/Wallie

Edit: The event is set up correctly.
I hate to ask, but maybe there was too much clutter in the cashee, due to the many events running at the same time.
Was the dungeon after the ladder your final one? 14/14?
That event is also set to run to complete if it is true.
Maybe it's set wrongly, if it is false, the screen freezes...

going to recheck this.

Indeed I found the problem, it autorun the commen event, that freezes up the game.
I'll upload a patch to fix this.
I can't

I went straight to tower from castle. Didn't visit any optional areas along the way. It's the main story no?
Also at the village near the castle there is a guard in the inn. Whenever I tried to talk to him game would crash.

I downloaded patch and replaced those files. It worked.
I first had trouble with the archive. winrar wouldn't let me extract it. Then used 7zip and worked fine.

yes. It felt short. I had no idea how close I was to the end.
More background on characters would have been nice.
I couldnt pass that bridge in frozen cave. Countdown too short or i couldnt figure out how to reach brigde before countdown end
Did you run by holding Shift on the keyboard? When doing that, there should be sufficient time to reach the bridge before the countdown ends.

Yes, indeed.
Hold down shift to run.
Don't give up, you can do it!
