After spending sixteen years away from the manor she grew up at, Melissa returns to it as the new owner. Though, not only empty hallways greet her return...

Story:
As a child, Melissa was adopted from an orphanage by a family of florists, whose kindness and generosity formed her into a full-fledged lady despite not being noble of birth. Separated from her new parents and fiancee after many years she forgets about them and her seemingly wonderful, in reminiscence, past. This past is to be delved in once again as Melissa returns to the manor in order to claim the legal inheritance emerging only living descendant of the family.

So she will bit by bit reconcile days of her youth and unnerving occasions of what was presented as a child's fantasy in a new, much more disturbing light. Meet surreal half-plants, half-people servants, cryptic terrors lurking in shadows of what once was a flourishing place of joy, spitting ridiculous puns and threats alike, and restore the name of the beloved one only to realize it's all merely a manifestation of the subconscious of someone holding onto their memories a little too much. Or are things as simple as they seem?

This is a short "RPG Maker Horror"/"mansion" genre game featuring a story of remembrance and long-forgotten love. There are a couple of possible "bad ends" and also few hidden references to known culture and art.

Visual style and story setting adhere to the culture of Modern style in Britain during the end of XIX - beginning of XX century. Contains attempts to convey quirks of British humour as well.

Controls:
Z/X for accept/decline, arrow keys, should be playable with a joystick too, qwertz\azerty keyboard users may want to switch layout to qwerty beforehand.

Content warning: mild horror, screen flashes

Disclaimer: This is a very short game(10-15 minutes), it is not a whole "RPG Horror" title by means, rather consider it a demo/prequel for upcoming project in this setting, "Melissa and the Flower King", which I am planning to start around 2022 possibly.
