Synopsis:
False Awakening is a dark, psychological, story-focused game about a young man stuck inside his dream, unable to wake up from it.

In this second episode, the dream starts turning into a nightmare. All control is lost, and the only choice left, is to force yourself awake. But in this dream where you are not in control anymore, it's not going to be easy to reach the instrument of your awakening. And even if you do reach it... and wake up. What sort of reality lies beyond this dream?


This is the second episode, (out of total three) with a playtime of around 1 hour and 20 minutes. You simply walk from one point to the next, read dialogues, and progress through the story.

The original release date of this game was back in November 2018. (My second game, developed in 1.5 months. Using the first episode as base.)

NOTE: Please keep 'Always Dash' OFF. As the movement system in this game can be a bit buggy when you're dashing all the time.
(I'll remove this note when I get the chance to update this game, and apply the fix. Thank you! And I hope you still choose to experience this game.)

Sorry, this game is not playable. I played the first part and was so excited to see what would happen next. I had to quit this game after 5 minutes as I somehow managed to softlock myself again and again in multiple attempts.

First attempt:
Show
Cannot move anywhere. Had to restart the game.



Second attempt:
Show
Clicked the door. Nothing happens. Stuck again. Cannot move and even Escape key doesn't work anymore. Had to restart.



Third attempt:
Show
Stuck again. I can move a single square to the right and back and that's it. Cannot move up and down. Restart, I guess.



Fourth attempt:
Show
Stuckolicious. Cannot move anywhere from here.

Thank you for playing the games Tw0face! And thank you for bringing this issue up.
I understand the bug. And may update & fix it at a later date. (The bug seems to come from dashing and running in this area.)

I'd genuinely love it if you could keep playing. Please don't dash in this map, and you should be able to continue through this! (Turn always dash OFF, just in case.)
